Good lord they are entitled

Better take it easy on them, they believe they are big time with their fans amazed by the team taking a jet to Middlesbrough. They’ve hit the bit time

They think they are the cat's whiskers don't they? Brentford, a great team. Said no one ever.

They are has beens who never have been.

File under jumped up nothings.

They’re even more deluded than them up the road, I mean, at least the scum have spent many seasons historically in the top tier and won the FA cup, even if it was 100 years ago. They’ve also got out of this division twice recently, even though they absolutely shat their pants in their PL.

Brentford I believe have only spent 2 or 3 years in the top division and that was before WW2 started. 90% of their history is in the bottom two divisions doing diddly squat.

Less us not forget... they have won fcek all and still haven't this season ! Even the hype around their ground is bigged up

Our next 4 games are against teams in or just outside the relegation zone (Wednesday, Forest, Huddersfield and Coventry).

Their next 4 games are against teams that they've already beaten once this season (Middlesbrough, Reading, Barnsley and QPR), but I can see them dropping points against Reading and Boro and maybe even against Barnsley. The QPR match is a local derby for them and surely QPR can't be as awful against them as they were last time.

QPR is far from a walkover; they recently turned Watford over on their own patch.

I would absolutely love to see them bottle it again. To see them do what Bournemouth have just done would be a thing of beauty.

I detest them and it all boils down to their w*nker of a manager and the deluded, arrogant supporters but I’m sure the feeling is mutual so I don’t feel bad about it !!!

Hello Swans!!! (Or should I use "Jacks"??)
Visiting "Brentford Boy" here!!!

Seems like things are cranking up on and off the pitch between us, so thought it might be fun/interesting/useful to sign up and engage in some genuine (hopefully non-offensive!!) debate.

Just wanted to start with a couple of questions:

1) What, specifically, was it/is it that has resulted in the negative reaction towards Thomas Frank? (Note: no "s"!! :) ) Is it all down to his reaction to the Rico Henry sending off last season?

2) Why do you think Cooper set up/employed the tacticsl he did against in the game a couple of weeks back? I was really surprised, as I expected a decent game between 2 footballing sides. That was highlighted even more when I watched your game v Norwich last Friday, in which you did 'out-football' them. Just wondering why you didn't try to play the same way against us?

Hopefully nothing too controversial there to start with!!! :)

1. It'd have started there, but he's shown himself to be pretty true to that interview. Someone with his arrogance and mannerisms just isn't someone who people from Swansea are going to take to.

2. He wasn't happy with the performance, and has talked about it a lot since in interviews. We aren't good enough of a side to play well in every single game this season, we're going to have off days and that certainly was one of them. The performance we put in wouldn't have been the plan, even if we looked to try and sit a bit deeper we'd have hoped to do a lot better in possession. We've since put in some good performances and wins together to put it right.

We've certainly shown an ability to play in our usual style against you, in the game away from home this season. The same question could be asked of why you didn't play your usual game earlier on in the season?

Not including the playoffs didn’t they beat us twice last season? This season they can’t beat us. Not quite sure what they think they’ve got on us tbh ..... and add to that they suddenly think they’re as big as QPR and you’ve suddenly got an overly entitled set of fans and a club disappearing up its own arsehole. Looking forward to the collapse.

Welcome to a non-deluded and none arrogant fans forum, must make a nice change for you.........😂😂
In answer to your first question regarding Thomas W*nk (note: no ‘er’ or ‘s’ !!!😄), for me it starts with the reaction to the Rico Henry sending off last season but then moves on to the arrogance and lack of respect that he shows and then there’s those big bug eyes...............!!!

As far as your second question is concerned I’m not so sure that Steve Cooper did set out to play the way that we did, as he’s said in interviews since that the way we played doesn’t sit well with him. He fielded probably the strongest team possible on the night and we just had an off night, whilst Brentford played well. For all the possession and shots at goal you had you barely looked like scoring (unlike your games since where you’ve scored a few) and when we went down to 10 men we were happy to take a point from the game.

As for all the arrogance shown by your lot recently it’s highly amusing and as one of your more sensible posters stated on your forum recently “ I'm really not happy with all this self-praise. Self-confidence is fine, and we've got a great collection of players with a fair shout at going up automatically, and even as champions, but let's not forget what pride cometh before.”
You have become the team everyone loves to hate and if you fail to get promotion there will be 23 other teams laughing their socks off !!
