We’ll agree to disagree on the Bidwell challenge. Some of our fans thought, like you, that there was no foul. Having seen the incident replayed on video, plus after match “stills” of the challenge, I’m in the “foul” camp......
I’d still like some concrete examples of “arrogance” from Frank, that make him any different to 99% of managers (including Cooper) who defend their team, including the way the play, both before and after a match......Also, you say he’s “become” arrogant. When do you think this happened? Were you OK with him and his “non-arrogant” approach a couple of seasons ago?
Interesting that you think that as a group of fans ‘our’ new found arrogance has coincided with our new ground, particularly as we’ve only has 2 games in it where (2K) fans were allowed in......
Maybe you think that we’ve ‘become’ arrogant because we weren’t on your radar before?
Must admit Sky do have a bit of a ‘love in’ for us at the moment, which we also find embarrassing at times.....
As for ‘never ever got above ourselves’, maybe you can point me in the direction of where Bees fans have called Swansea ‘tinpot’ and a club with ‘no history’? I’ve got more than a few where Swans fans have said the same about us.....

It wasnt a foul, as I've said bidwell jumped straight up for the ball, raya jumped into bidwell and bounced off him.

The first sign of franks arrogance that we noticed was his behaviour after sending off last season, he was moaning like an old woman, it was a definite sending off offence and his moaning on sky tv got his man a reprieve, he knew exactly what he was doing as he knows that sky has started to warm to your team, his behaviour has got worse in the last two years which is when you have become skys little championship pet and as I've also mentioned your players are acting the same on the pitch, they moan and bleat to the ref after a decision has gone against you, it has all come from the change in franks behaviour, we do have one moaner in ayew and he does piss us Jacks off with it.

I dont remember your team or frank behaving the way they do now when I visited your ground 2 years ago, it has changed since you knew you were going into your new stadium and when sky adopted you.

Fwiw we have a bigger history than you, we have been in the top division more seasons and recently won a major trophy and competed in europe, I'm sure i can speak for most loyal supporting swans fans by saying we have never believed that you were a tinpot club, those comments have only come out since the change in your clubs and managers demeanour.

FB, what he/they don't realise is we've had a titfull of a certain club up the road constantly going on about how big n important they are when clearly they arnt. And now we got this fckn little shower doing likewise. Gets bit waring tbh.

But it's true about you.

It was pretty much true about us until 1981 when we topped the first division on and off until Easter, and again until 2011. Now though....you have a long way to catch up.

You seem decent but you must be embarrassed with people moaning about Ayew when Canos gets killed by sniper fire every single game, and your players moan at the ref about everything. Your keeper just isn't very good at crosses. That's it. Accept it. There are no fouls, he is just a vampire. We've had a few ourselves, including king Dracula himself, so we know one when we see one.

Other than angry scarfers like those on this site, there is also a bit of needle with fans of both clubs who like to partake in a bit of pavement jousting.

Started a couple of years ago at your place, when our lot went on the lash around all your so called tough pubs and were left alone. After that lot had left to come back to Gods country, some of yours jumped a couple of ours and gave them a few digs. For the return game at ours, your toughies sent a letter to a pub where our lot drink, threatening all sorts. So the scene was set, or so you'd think. However, your lot then decide that they are not quite as tough as they thought they were, so they didn't go to the game, or even Swansea. Instead they stayed about 8 miles away in a little towns workingmen's club. Inevitably, the locals put a couple of fleas in their earholes and off back to that there London they went.

Thanks for the (sensible!!) answers. 😀

1) Still interested to know exactly what comments were said/have been since, that display an arrogant attitude? As for mannerisms, I assume you lot aren’t overly keen on Cooper either then??!! 😀

2) It wasn’t really the performance I was questioning per se. All teams have off days. (Including us, believe it or not??!! lol) It was just the fact that you seemed to be set up, from the first minute, to try to stop us, rather than play your normal game, as you did against Norwich on Friday. I just found it surprising/a bit odd........

In answer to your last point/question, we didn’t change our style in the home game against you, we just didn’t play well enough. Probably due to how you played as much as anything else. We didn’t set out to try to ‘stop’ you though......

1) I think it's pretty clear. The interviews are there for all to see after the play-off game. He's got arrogant mannerisms, Cooper doesn't.

This isn't just us saying it by the way, it's the general consensus of all fans in the Championship. Leeds and West Brom fans have held those views about him for longer than we have.

2) I don't think that was the intent, it's clear from Cooper's comments that things didn't go to plan, but when we aren't playing well in possession, we're just going to focus on what we always tend to do well, which is defending.

"sent a letter "... how very 1980's 😒

Arrogance is certainly not something that can be an accusation against Cooper, he is confident in what he does but arrogant? A long way from it.

I do think we set up slightly defensively at the start of the Brentford game but we also had a huge off night and that just meant we were backs to the wall. It worked for us though we escaped with a draw which was great news for us and we need to pass on the "was it a foul" question as simply it wasn't and you certainly cannot take any gauge from a "still" photo of it. Watch it in real time, Bidwell jumped, your keeper jumped into him - as he proved yesterday he has a real weakness with these kind of things

I can honestly see Brentford slipping up soon in the last three games they have been tested early by Wycombe, Bristol City and Boro. They won all three (and on paper seemingly easily) but they were tested in each - give Reading that kind of encouragement on Wednesday and I don't think they will get away with it.

Do I hate Thomas Frank? Not hate him but he is an easily dislikeable bloke as are many of your fans ( I was banned from your forum for merely pointing out that you didn't beat us at the Liberty because you just didn't make your advantages pay) and there is a definite feeling of entitlement. Add to that a large dose of ignorance that nobody gets to 53-55 points at this stage of the season without having something about it but for all your "best team in the world" type fans you are only in a mix with two teams that you don't seem to rate very highly. Go figure what that means

Saying that, these Brentford lads have got previous for arranging "dust up's" with rival fans ... 👀

Second point, again fair enough teams have off days, but it really did look like it was a pre-meditated approach.....

Our goal was not a foul (look in the papers for the score if you do not believe me)......
Until then wind your necks in, as you have nothing, zero, zilch. Maybe if it works out you might even win a trophy or play in Europe one day.
In that case are we to assume that all decisions made by officials are correct? Never been a “mistake” in one of your games? Also, by that logic, I’ll assume you agree that the Red Card awarded against Henry last season was incorrect, as the final decision was to turn it over.....
Wondered when the comments about our “history” might start. 😀 Just wondering what that has to do with the current state of affairs? When does taking note of what a club has achieved start/stop? Maybe it should only count over the last 2 years (when we’ve finished above you?) Or perhaps we should go back to 1936-46 when we were in Division 1, and you were in Division 2? Or 1973-1978 when we were both in Division 4? Maybe it should be based on who’s had the highest attendance 39K for us, 33K for you? Etc. etc....... You chose......
As for Europe, the winner of the Maltese Cup used to qualify for the Cup Winners Cup too.......😀
I’ll give you your trophy though. Reckon your League Cup win just shades our 1942 War Cup win......😀

it was a definite sending off offence
his behaviour has got worse in the last two years
Fwiw we have a bigger history than you,
we have never believed that you were a tinpot club, those comments have only come out since the change in your clubs and managers demeanour.
How come Henry played in the 2nd leg then? According to one of your brethren talking about the Bidwell ‘foul’ all I needed to do was “look in the paper” to see if it was or not......
Was Frank OK then in the 4 months between October 2018 (when he became coach) a February 2019??!! 😀
Bigger history?? See my earlier thoughts/comments on how that gets judged......
So we suddenly become “tinpot” because we’re doing better now?? Seems a bit odd.....

As a moderately sensible supporter on here, I would say that Brentford have become the Man Utd of this division ( without the history) and your manager akin to Fergie. He moans about everything and your players appeal to the ref for everything. Yesterday was a prime example. Your keeper made a bad error and your team tried to blame everyone instead of taking it on the chin. If Middlesbrough had been given the stonewall penalty and been more clinical instead of goal ( plus the slip by their defender on the halfway line) you would have not looked anywhere as impressive as the result suggests
Man Utd of this division??!! Well that’s a first!!! 😀 Better than being called a “Bus Stop in Hounslow” as we are by QPR fans!!! lol
Really don’t think Frank moans about decisions any more than any other manager. But I would say that wouldn’t I??!!
Definite foul on Raya yesterday (which was backed up by the pundits on Quest earlier) due to the elbow from Saville, as was the one by Bidwell in our game v you, but agree he should do better on both occasions.
Yep, 4-1 flattered us yesterday, but we’ve had games this season where we deserved more than we got. I’m guessing you have similar examples in games too?? It’s what makes the game so great isn’t it!!
Believe me the Man Utd / Fergie comparison is no complement of your football or your manager's coaching skills.
The footballing gods were with you yesterday and in the previous game against Bristol City. As for the game against us it was a bad day in the office and we have written that off as such.
