• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just had a Jalfrezi from Mint Marsala in Caerwen, probably the mildness Jalfrezi I've ever had, convinced that the chilies were runner beans

Cost of everything going up see, the chillies probably were runner beans, apparently loads of independent pizza takeaways have been prosecuted for selling ham based pizzas and using processed wafer thin turkey instead, by all accounts it looks the same after being in an oven and hard to tell the difference in taste, but costs half the price

Most pizza takeaways use turkey ham because it's halal

Any MSG-free Chinese/Cantonese takeaways in Swansea? Otherwise it's a "no" from me.

Most that use turkey instead of ham are doing it dishonesty though by the looks of it.

The Clodwyn Gold has made up for it Dicky :D

That's good stuff from Conwy Brewery.
The nearby Great Orme brewey has some good ales as well.
Enjoying Doom Bar on draft recently. Of all places Burry Port Yacht club!
They've also got Blodwen ale in bottles

Yep although some do state the difference now, likewise lamb donner becoming lamb and beef donner in some places - I suppose that's cheaper too. Generally if it's a kebab shop that does pizzas, there'll be no oink oink on the menu

Don't like Doom Bar myself, but some nice beers about.
