Disgrace of a performance, no way I'm watching the second half.
Where do we go from here?
We signed a whole new back line in the summer & are still defensively poor.
We signed 2 strikers, 1 isn't good enough & the other is rarely fit & when he is isn't trusted by the manager.
We have no pace or creativity.
🤬
The summer window was an absolute shiit show!
The money we took in, coupled with the investment meaning we didn't need to sell(even though we sat on another profit) was a massive opportunity to address things.

The thing that hurts that we are not only worse off but far worse off.
Poor defenders brought in with absolute zero attacking quality.

Gwennan Harries gets it: “Fisher doesn’t look comfortable playing out from the back”.

None of them do. It’s not hard to see, is it?

I hope we haven’t got a pound shop Russel Martin here.
The signs were there even before he left Notts County.

To defend Ashby I think he's been told to do a similar job to what Sam Parker was doing, acting as the wide attacker down the right rather than defending properly. Doesn't excuse his lack of ability.
He has. He’s been underwhelming all season though, wherever he’s played. I think that says more about us than him, as he was flying in pre-season and is highly rated by Newcastle fans. It’s not working out here for him, but then it’s not working for anyone this season.
