The Four Playoff Teams

STID2017 said:
None of the four - Swans, Brentford, Bournemouth and Barnsley ( assuming nothing changes ) are really setting the world on fire.
They have all had good and bad patches, but it will be a lottery ( even more than usual )
Whichever team can lift themselves for those three matches will win it.
Swansea could be that team, but at the moment that is hope rather than expectation

Bournemouth have won the last six on the bounce. They are setting the world on fire.

I honestly think Brentford would be the team we want over 2 legs (then Barnsley in the final). Brentford lacking any creativity at the moment and really slow in build up. The games I've seen of them recently they look average.

I know we are awful, and they'd probably beat us, but genuinely would rather play them than Barnsley and Bournemouth over 2 legs at the time of writing.

Should be Bmuffs to lose but....they've now won 7 on the spin and probably few more till the play offs. This league has a habit if ending unbeaten runs and my only hope regarding them is that winning run and good form might desert em when it matters.

Haven't Bournemouth just won 9 (nine) games in a row?

In 2016/17 Huddersfield got to and won the playoff final with no Huddersfiled player scoring in open play during the 3 matches.

The fact that we will probably make the playoffs shows the standard of the Championship to be utter pish, in fact, I'll lump on, even now, that both WBA and Fulham will go back up automatically next season. Not even joking...

Christ, there’s some pessimism and negativity on here, and that other forum. We’ve done the double on Barnsley, drawn home and away to Brentford, a draw and a loss to Bournemouth.
So, in 6 games against the 3 other play off clubs we’ve lost one.
Everyone is fecking giving up without a ball being kicked in the play offs.

Have you watched our recent games? Optimism is hard to find at the moment.

Consider myself ( apart from yer good self) the most optimistic of fans, but am struggling to see hope for the play offs. Hoping that Bmuff run will end come then, hoping that Ivan Toney gets injured, hoping that Barnsley fearless approach will see them freeze in the headlights. Those will have to align with us playing a million per cent than we are for us to have a sniff of promotion pal. And should we cop it at Reading...no guarantee we'll make it anyway.
