It is absolutely horrendous!

Ever since we moved to the Liberty the pitch has always been immaculate... pretty much as good the last day of the season to the first.

What’s gone wrong this year!?

Nathan Jones even commented after the game that sheep couldn’t even live on our pitch as there’s not enough grass.

I guess this is what happens when you employ ground staff on minimum wage?

Ridiculous really when you consider it's not 100% real and only now after 15 years it's problematic.

Bud over the summer I couldn’t find someone to cut hedges for that money.

I doubt it mate, the bloke that cuts people’s lawns round here charges £20 for the privilege.

A company which had spent a couple of days a week full time on it, and instructed the groundstaff what to do during the other day, were told they were not needed back in the summer. The said company are also heavily involved with other clubs, and a few rugby pitches. Their pitches look immaculate.
Ours now is one of the worst in the Championship, if not the worst.
Get them back.

I was a greenkeeper at the royal porthcawl when I was 17-20 and the first year I was on way more than £9 an hour. This was also over 10 years ago, piss poor salary that is tbh

Didn't it have a major re-lay not that long ago (2018/19?)? Should have held up much better than it has, even though it's been wet.
