• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I think he's got a valid point in saying the guy should come forward cos there are others getting s**t online.

The only reason others are getting sh*t online is because this has turned into a homophobic witch-hunt.

If something illegal has happened it needs to be dealt with by the proper authorities. Quickly and firmly.

If it hasn’t, and so far the only illegal activity that seems to have genuinely been suggested is that someone broke Covid lockdown rules then it’s none of our bloody business.

We have papers seemingly describing two people talking on a dating app as a further ‘scandal’ for the BBC. It’s ridiculous. As is the language being used such as deliberately describing people of 22 or 23 as ‘youngsters’ to make it sound as though there are children involved. It may be distasteful, seedy and pathetic but if not illegal, its no business of the media, the general public, nor indeed, the employer unless there is a provable element of it affecting someone’s job. The main reason this is affecting the reputation of the BBC is because the way the Sun chose to run the story was designed with that in mind.if they’d reported it differently, this wouldn’t have happened.

Quite why the BBC are allowing themselves and their own presenters to add fuel to the fire is beyond comprehension.

That Scum rag the Sun is embroiled in all this and that should say everything about the sorry saga, probably been digging and digging for anything to spice all this up.

I've a feeling the Sun are sitting on something pretty big to reveal. Yes, they are scheming cvnts, but if the guy has done nothing...then just come out and say. Longer goes on, the more guilty and suspicious it looks.

Who knows, what has and what hasn't gone on, but the Sun are lapping it all up as per fuking usual!

Long been known Murdoch hates the BBC, perhaps this is his attempt to really twist the knife.

Another disgusting money grabbing nasty piece of work.

I don’t know how this has been such huge news. Far more important that Boris the Clown hasn’t stumped up the WhatsApp messages. Bloody smokescreen.

Absolutely this

I was astonished at 'second young person' to then find out it was a 21 year old. If they were girls it would be a different story, or not a story. If there's nothing illegal, in a fair world he should clearly be reinstated and get front page apologies for wrecking his life. Obviously he has already been tried and found guilty of having a quite legitimate sexual preference, so he's done for by the mob. His poor family. Of course, everyone throwing stones at his 'secret life' (which I also personally can't grasp why he pursued, but so what, none of my business) is a paragon of virtue.

It has become disgusting.

Stand by yer beds Monny. This isn't over yet. He's playing the mental health card cos maybe he's aware of what else is around the corner.
