Is Wyndham on drugs when he says we are the better team and played well second half
Feck me it's a result business and we've been bloody poor

Oh dear. Rubbish result and performance.

Nevermind, onwards to the league. Need to put in a decent performance against PNE and Bham.

Looking at the stats, I think we were lucky to get nil. Dire and depressing.

:D

Never mind you lost to Wales premier Club today

Good luck for rest of season

On the plus points Rodon hasn't got injured again, Fulton has found his true level in the opposition , the sun was out and we won the sideways pass stat.

Not so good - Gave them two gift goals, no creativity probably not helped not having any strikers, Formation looked disjointed and we looked no better than them anywhere on the pitch.

One good thing about this sh1te cup performance is that the players will have more time to concentrate on the league. 😇

The first 4 cup rounds have to be played before the end of September.

I take it that what looked on paper to be our first choice midfield and attack wasn’t worth the paper it was written on?

Seems at least one Centre forward needed and that 6 wide(Ish) players in Lowe, routs, Ayew, Garrick, Asoro and Peterson looks like one if not two too many.

Appears midfield needs beefing up along with another centre half.

Sounded like an abysmal performance with our man of the match being one of the unused subs.

We created very few clear cut chances if any in 94 mins against a L2 side . A couple of long range efforts by Asoro and Grimes was about it.

The only positive for the PNE game is they won't sit back for a half soaking up pressure which may give us space to do something in the final third.

With.so many players on international duty can't understand why we are playing this today

Saying that we should be doing better but Newport have form in the cup

We're missing 2, perhaps three players who would make the starting eleven.

Let's not make excuses for the continuation of the truly woeful performances we became accustomed to seeing last season under Steve Cooper.
