Remember, our management chose to develop Newcastle United's number 4/5 goalkeeper instead of choosing to develop a young goalkeeper of our own who excelled in the Football League the previous season.

   Richard Cranium

The Championship is a big step up from League 2, Richard.

If Dwight's real name is Richard, that would be so fitting.

I se Cooper has started with his usual rant against the players when messes up.

You look at the team and that performace and think it was only 7 years ago we were lifting that trophy makes you want to weep, what an utter shambles we've become

Swans TV is utter crap on commentary lets be honest.

The main guy said that Sheehan and Shephard never played for us! Quick look on wiki was it and just looked at league appearances? Wyndham then said 'oh I hope Sheehan comes on' before being told he was on the pitch... ffs!!!

He also said we played Newport in the 1978-79 league cup and the year before that in 1976!

With.so many players on international duty can't understand why we are playing this today

Saying that we should be doing better but Newport have form in the cup

It was either play it this weekend or last weekend. We were missing 3 defenders, don't think it would've made much difference to how crap we were going forward.

Take your point but we were missing Cullen as well.who could play a big part for us this year depending on who comes in

Did forget about Cullen but I think the trouble was more in midfield!

We created very few clear cut chances if any in 94 mins against a L2 side . A couple of long range efforts by Asoro and Grimes was about it.

Stats say we had 1 shot on target which must have been the 2nd half effort by Routs which was definitely on target and was well saved by their keeper in the 2nd half and the only save he had to make all afternoon.
