• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Innit just. The Lions roar. St George slays the Welsh Dragons, yadda, yadda, yadda. Anyways well see in a couple of weeks, if it's coming home or not. šŸ˜‰

Senegal will be a proper test. Africa Cup of Nations champs for good reason.

The pace, guile, zest and zip is joyous. Even without Mane.

3-0 to The Lions....... of Teranga

Isn’t it possible to do both? The problem is you always head towards an extreme just to get a rise out of people. Of course we were awful. Nobody who’s watched the last three games will deny that and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone claim we were good or even anything other than rubbish. But it’s possible to acknowledge that and still be grateful and/or proud to see your country actually get to a World Cup tournament for the first time in most of our lifetimes. If you took a step back from time to time and stop constantly trying to wind people up and/or belittle people’s views you’d be able to acknowledge that too.

Page seemed to think we played well.
It’s been dreadful.
Oh and read CurtessECarrs post.

Page did what managers do. Is there anything in my post you disagree with?

Yes and no.
The being proud to be there should have stopped weeks ago,we’ve had three awful games and we might as well had not been there.
It’s been pretty pointless really we could have given the spot to Ukraine instead.

That last sentence is possibly the stupidest thing you’ve ever written and that has some fairly fierce competition. Should all 16 sides who will go out in the first round, or even all eight who will finish bottom of their group like Wales, not have bothered and also given the spot to Ukraine?

No the others have put a bit of effort in.
So you don’t agree that our World Cup and I mean the football side of it not having a tug over Dafydd Iwan has been utterly dire and bitterly disappointing then?

Yes of course I agree with that. I’ve not said any different have I? My objection is the pleasure you’re taking in it.

I’m not taking pleasure out of I’m extremely disappointed but I don’t get why so many soppy twats are creaming themselves over just being there.

Moving on to a more positive perspective - what would you do first to turn this shite show around ?

Lol. You’re fucking chuffed I’d have more respect if you just admitted it.
