England's theatrics against France was irritating, they went to ground consistently & then kept surrounding the referee to try to influence him.

When Saka got the first penalty, Foden literally had his hands in the praying position in front of the ref before he gave the decision.

Several of them also tried to get Griezmann sent off by waving their hands with an imaginary card after he had already been booked earlier. Whether he deserved a second card or not is irrelevant, they don't need to be doing it.

Some days everything falls for you and the second goal summed that up.
Took it well though.

Not sure what the Argie fans sing, but when they’re in full voice it does sound good

This'll have to be the come back of all come backs for Croatia now. I don't think they had one serious attempt on goal in the first half. A massive change of tactics required. Maybe they'll go Cardiff Route One.

This has been the best WC, with some truly amazing games.

But Croatia cannot bring this back. Surely?

Coming back from 2 goals down seems completely antithetical to the way they play.

Certainly would have preferred Croatia to win this than Argentina, but it is hard to begrudge Messi finally adding the big one to his trophy cabinet (him doing it in the same tournament Ronaldo got dropped does make it more enjoyable also).

Wtf are Wright and Neville on about? Defo a pen.

I have the pundits on in the background and had to do a double take.
They sound awfully bitter.
