It's frustrating to think that with a bit more consistency and more purpose a bit earlier we'd be up there now in a very poor league. Some of the games we've surrendered or not tried against terrible teams (Reading, Hull twice, Blackpool, Stoke twice, Brum twice) are criminal. Still I thought 60 points was par and I'd be disappointed if we don't beat that. Is starting to feel like a missed opportunity though.

It will feel like a missed opportunity definitely if we flog the likes of Piroe, Downes and Oba in the summer, which isn't at all out of the question imo.

I just can't believe anyone is pinning their hopes on us winning the next 3 games never mind the next 7. The Brum game was less than two weeks ago. They were 20th. We should have lost 3 or 4 nil. hat is as much the reality of us at the moment as back to back wins.

Win the next 4 and I might allow my hopes to become high enough to be dashed. Derby are a decent team by the way. They are only 'really' fewer points behind us than the cruds. Reading have already beaten us at the Lib and Barnsley are in decent if up and down form.

I'd be more inclined to back us against Florist, Muff and Boro, the way we are.

The brum game was 2 weeks exactly to the cardiff game, they had two weeks rest to recuperate and work on things on the training ground, uptil now it has seemed to work, let's hope we can keep this form up for the next 4 weeks.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten all about the international jamboree.

This is the Championship. Nobody wins seven (it would be nine) on the bounce.

There again nobody had done the double in 110 years either.

Even more to the point, no one had done the doube.

Yeah but it’s not as if it was the first international break of the season.

Anyone who thinks that we’re about to go unbeaten until the end of the season can make me an offer for some magic beans.

Do they come with a half priced bridge?
