• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Rubbish piling up nicely on Pentrechwyth bypass. I'm thinking of buying a snow plough, so I can clear up the crap as I drive along, fking disgrace.🤬
Sort it out Swansea Council. FFS.

Driving into work this morning,I was looking around at the state of everything.
Rubbish strewn at the side of the roads, potholes everywhere. And then I passed our flagship arena. FFS. It's not even finished properly, and now the main stairs have been scoffolded, and covered in tarpaulin, presumably to hide whatever is going on behind. What is going on, I despair. Shocking.

Seen the state on that monstrosity of a bridge, its shocking whoever thought that, that was a good idea needs horse whipping along with the designer, it just overpowers the rest of it :x

Cardiff is exactly the same. Stuff chucked from cars. What the hell is wrong with people?

I'm sure the same people moaning at the council for people throwing rubbish out of their cars will also be moaning at the council for closing roads to clear up the mess...

I've sort of gotten used to it, still dont particularly like the thing mind.

The bridge is great. It replaced a concrete monstrosity. Some people only like dull, dull, dull.

Nothing wrong with the bridge mun.
As a bridge it fulfills its function i.e. It gets you from one side of the street to the other. It is a bit chintzy though. Imho.

Well I don’t agree but kudos for the use of the word “chintzy”. Great work.
