• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Ball is spinning like a top apparently, 6 wickets for 59 runs, looking very likely that they won't bat out their overs, dear me 202 for 2 at one stage, 261 for 8 now.

Here comes the rain. They should have done the same as the one day cup final last week and reduced it to 20 a side before the start to get a result. Not allowed in international cricket apparently. They’d rather have no result. Because cricket is terminally stupid.

And now they’ll take the scheduled 45 minute break between innings to give the rain time to arrive properly.

England did well to get that to 309 after going 8 down. I don’t think I will need to rush back from the footy in order to catch the back end.

Twenty overs a side would have generated a winner by now.

And there ends another summer of cricket. See you for the 2025 thread chaps. But before that we’ve got test tours to Pakistan and New Zealand to look forward to. The Pakistan tour still doesn’t have a U.K. broadcaster with the first test a little over a week away.

Next summer should be as cracking as this year’s was low key. Five tests against India, one against Zimbabwe and the WTC final at Lord’s.
