• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The new one way system around Sketty shops. WTF is that all about? And what moron thought one was needed? And beyond that, just the Council’s Highways department in general. Everything they do is worse for us.

Trying to get a picture with a freeview aerial, Good stuff on BBC 2 tonight, but it takes a bloody age to fiddle the aerial around to get a decent pic on BBC, absolute joke, reception on these digital channels is an absolute disgrace.

Anyway all done now, Kim Wilde at the moment, then a few hours of 81 and 86. 👍

Thank You Darran, hopefully should be good. Quite enjoying Kim Wilde at the moment, she still looks good at just turned 65. Pretty gobsmacked at that, not that she looks old, but she has seemed to be around for an eternity, just turned 65 on the 18th November.

She’s fab.

The number of emails that you get around this time of year from companies that you bought a small item from in 2008 and never want to hear from again.
No matter how many you unsubscribe from, each one seems to be replaced by two more.
