TNS

TNS getting to the group stages of the Conference League will earn them a minimum of over £3 million in prize money. Although this will be good for the profile of the Cymru Premier it will make an uncompetitive league even more so. However, with that sort of money available for winning a couple of ties I can see a lot of interest bring generated in takeovers of other Cymru Premier sides. We should be on the case.

A takeover of Llanelli by our owners would be perfect for all parties. It would give our youngsters, on loan, a first taste of the grown up game, and experience of European football.

I read that it's more than what all the other teams combined will get this season

To be fair it's like most leagues across the continent.

France, Germany, Spain, England, Scotland. It's the same teams winning the league year in year out.

To an extent that's true, but TNSs supremacy is at a different level entirely. It's pretty much guaranteed they will win the league before a ball is kicked. At least Arsenal ran Man City close last season.

That's football for you, back in the day West End paid money to get the best player's from the area and won the Swansea Senior League for years before a ball was kicked.
Money talkes whatever leauge your in, deal with it...

Indeed. And now that serious money is available to Cymru Premier sides that progress in Europe it would be unsurprising if other Cymru Premier sides get taken over. The prospect of earning over £3 million a year from the Conference League is going to be mouth watering.

When was the last time anyone other than Celtic, Rangers, PSG, Bayern, Madrid, Barca etc won their respective leagues on a regular basis?

Man City have just won four on the spin and will no doubt win it again this season.

Dominance of leagues isn't a new thing.

If there's a distribution of money, yes

The likes of Briton Ferry don't get anything tangible from it otherwise

'Y Clwb Pel Droed' is a fantastic page on Facebook that covers Welsh domestic football, go and see yourself what the feeling is towards TNS from fans of other clubs in the league.
Saying that mate, looks like Cardiff MET might be coming into some money soon 👀

TNS were unbeaten and won by 33 points in a 32 game season. Man City won by 2 points and the title was in the balance to the last game. The Cymru Premier is a procession in a way few other leagues are.

Ground (Park Hall) is registered in Shropshire

After Oswestry Town and Total Network Solutions merged, their apication to play at Park Hall was initially rejected by UEFA, they appealed successfully because Owestry Town were historic members of the FAW

What's even more bizarre about the arrangement is that they groundshared until recently with a team called Oswestry Town (who I think have now folded) who played in the Shropshire league.

Must have been unique in world football to have 2 teams groundsharing that play in 2 different country's pyramid systems.

Had to look at what games they'd be hoping to get in the draw

With the 8 extra places being provided in the competitions above, the Conference League is quite low on marquee names,

TNS are in Pot 4 out of 6 somehow, along with Hearts.

Panathinaiokos are below them in pot 5! so are the team that knocked them out of the Europa League qualifiers (Petrocub)

Out of pot 1, they'll be hoping for Chelsea or Fiorentina. Copenhagen, Gent, LASK and Real Betis make the remainder up.

The rest of the teams are of the standard they would expect to meet in the Champions League Round 1 really

Only six games in Conference League so one from each pot, best scenario

Chelsea
Legia Warsaw
Rapid Vienna
Hearts
Panathinaikos
Larne

Chelsea will have their reserves out in this surely

Disapointing in terms of home draws, they can probably play all of those at their normal ground providing they are allowed to do so.

They can be confident of challening for a place outside of the bottom 8

In other news, Larne v Shamrock Rovers has the potential to be tasty.

Coventry City v Swansea City
