• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Transfer deadline day – what lies ahead for Swansea City? A day of disappointment?

Assume we'll see announcements for Lowe, Humphreys and Tymon in quick succession when the webmaster has found their password. Plus any other left-sided defenders Watson can find before 11pm.

Tyman and Edwards on perm would do for me.
Loans are loans. Rather perm. Giving Duff long term options.
Hope we keep Cullen. Key man.

If we don't get shot of any dead Wood, I doubt we'll shell out for both Hump and Ty. We won't have bought Pedersen to sit on the bench.

Well Wood having to perform to keep his place is fine by me, also Pedersen can play leftback (assuming 4 at the back) or wingback (freeing up Key to either play through the middle or on the right if Ashby is underperforming)

Assuming we get Humphries as well we could well end up looking at a back 4 of Pedersen, Humphries, Cabango/Wood/Darling and Ashby with actual wingers in the form of Key on the right and Cooper or Ginnelly on the left

I don't think we need Tymon after signing Pedersen, but a number of journos (I know, I know...) seem pretty convinced it's a done deal, so we'll see.

If I remember correctly we can only field a maximum of four loans in a matchday squad?
Patino and Rushworth are 100% starters, Ashby may end up facing competition from Key so might not be a 100% starter after the window closes but assuming he does then theres only one loan spot in the side left for Humphries and Lowe and Tymon assuming we sign them all

Yep can't see how tymkn and Humphrey's all fit in with Ashby and Key too...

Got a feeling Humphreys will be pulled if Chalobah goes from Chelsea to Spurs.

Brandon Cooper goes out on loan, almost definitely means we have at least one more centre half body in through the door (hopefully Humphries)
