The Conservative government led by Chamberlain, appeased Hitler in the late 1930s. Mosley and the far right unsurprisingly supported that government. Churchill was against this idea, sensing appeasing a dictator like Hitler would backfire. When it did, spectacularly, in 1940 Churchill was appointed prime minister.I see our wonderful ‘patriots’ are now massive fans of appeasement. Their hero Churchill would be turning in his grave, whilst Chamberlin would be smirking in his. the Conservative government led by Chamberlain, appeased Hitler in the late 1930s. This time he's got Musk behind him making the bullets for Trump to fire, a dangerous collaboration. IMO of course.Isn't this just another (albeit escalated) version of the usual Trump playbook? Threaten other countries with some batshit insane idea, softening them up when it comes to the negotiating table?
It looks like Canada and Mexico are agreeing to do some of what he wants (border security) now they've been threatened with tariffs. I can't see how bullying and threatening supposed allies will work in the long term (not to mention it's reprehensible behaviour for a country that styled itself as 'the leader of the free world'), but it seems to be working in the short term. Also probably a good insight into his business dealings over the years, essentially all his 'art of the deal' nonsense boils down to having the bigger stick and threatening to use it.
I must say, it really does make my eyebrows roll, when people criticise Trump. We are not living in some perfect Utopia, where Trump has come along, and upsetsthe applecart.
Yeah but you’re gullible as fuck, thick as mince and literally exactly the sort of person the likes of MAGA, Reform, AFD etc rely upon. Useful idiotsI must say, it really does make my eyebrows roll, when people criticise Trump. We are not living in some perfect Utopia, where Trump has come along, and upsetsthe applecart.
IMO the World is in a mess, someone comes along with different ideas for peace, then so be i
The way the World is now, not very good, so I can't understand the pushback against Trump, it's not like Biden did a fantastic job, I just think end the war in Ukraine at all costs, and then talk, it's just sacrificing peoples lives for frankly nothing!
I am sorry you feel that way. The world is in chaos, but it's all Trumps fault. He has literally been in power for 4 or 5 weeks.Yeah but you’re gullible as fuck, thick as mince and literally exactly the sort of person the likes of MAGA, Reform, AFD sec rely upon. Useful idiots
It depends on whether the Ukrainian authorities will stop arresting and interrogating ethnic Russians in Crimea, the whole reason why this war is on-goingI must say, it really does make my eyebrows roll, when people criticise Trump. Yes, I mean purely my whole point is , this should be resolved by diplomacy, people are slagging Trump off for what? He has only just came into power, I think this needleless loss of life, could have been averted a long time ago, I think this needles loss of life on both sides, could have been averted a long time ago, if there was a decent leader to talk about it.It depends on whether the Ukrainian authorities will stop arresting and interrogating ethnic Russians in Crimea, the whole reason why this war is on-going
I've said this before, judge the world and decisions by the economy, people are earning a packet from blowing people up, some businesses want war because they know that rivals are f*cked, oil, gas, steel, resources.. Farage is an imperialist, who believes in a class system, he believes Britain is in a higher class threshold to other counterparts..Yes, I mean purely my whole point is , this should be resolved by diplomacy, people are slagging Trump off for what? It kind of sickens me, such a waste of life, yet it seems some people are just fanning the flames further.
Its really sad Skip, we should not be at this stage. I have seen enough videos on X, drones killing people, close combat killing, it's totally abhorrent IMO.I've said this before, judge the world and decisions by the economy, people are earning a packet from blowing people up, some businesses want war because they know that rivals are f*cked, oil, gas, steel, resources.. Trump isn't meeting Putin to stop the war, he's probably attempting to broker a USA and Russia business deal, I don't read books on economical prosperity, I don't read books, it clouds and categorises your brain to think in a particular way, everyone thinks TV is a brainwashing tool, you can read any tw*t from a book and books go deep into the crevice of coercionIts really sad Skip, we should not be at this stage. Just slightly angered me, why people would try and deflect towards Trump for the war, IMO They witnessed Biden for the last few years, and then come out with the hatred of Trump, when he has zero to do with it, A strong leader, would have put this to bed, a long time ago.
