• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

So when do we take legal action against the trust board for not following through on the wishes of the trust they were elected to enact upon?

There’s a lot of revisionism happening at tonight’s meeting. By revisionism you could argue I’m being kind. Some would call it lies.

I hope the board are getting a lot of grief

What’s most astonishing about tonight is that the Trust board seems to have signed a deal that they know very little of the detail of.

and these guys call themselves business men..a stationary salesman and not sure what the chairman's business is .. .. you couldn't make it up

If it comes out they’ve been duped I can here the “but they promised ......”

So it turns out we have signed this deal despite the Americans refusing to tell us whether the loans are being converted (but they will when we have signed it - what a coincidence) us not knowing where the second money (if we ever won promotion will come from) but a belief that the 500k came from the sellers

The owners have carried on as they always have done and we have laid down and had our bellies tickled. That was worth than I imagined.

And the club statement was really from the owners bar it wasnt. It was from the club.

Ive just submitted the following e-mail

As a longstanding member I am very disappointed that this decision has been made without consulting the membership. As a result I want you to accept this e-mail as my resignation from the Swans Trust and will not be renewing next year. Good luck increasing the membership after your glaring disregard for those current members and their wishes
Have you any reply?

No. Just an auto reply

Has anyone rattled the boards cage yet

Nigel Davies asked themif they would resign (this was after they passed over without reference a question I assume from NeathJack asking the same) and it got no answers

That will - almost certainly - rear its head on Thursday - my view would be no member should resign until post Thursday at least take your right to respond first

And a massive well done to anyone who asked a challenging question

thars a good point Phil I'm sorry now I hadn't renewed would love to be able to challenge this mob....

They won't give a tuppenny fuk mush, I've felt it for a long time that, some of those on the board loved the fact they could go to games and sit where it would satisfy their own self importance, the wag the tail clown was a prime example.

I couldn’t give a f*ck if they care or not. The Trust is dead to me.

Whats annoying the fuk out of me, is that its a dream come true for few on these forums, we all know the reasons why. :x
