Trust Legal Action Called Off

This isn't a dig at ex members but I do find it baffling that apon resignation you guys didn't shout out from the roof tops what was going down in the trust so that maybe something, if anything could have been done to stop them making this decision. You guys obviously knew how this was going to go down. Anyway no use crying over spilt milk it's done now. I know from day one that the trust would never go to court which is why after the first vote I stopped my membership. Ironic really that the organisation is called trust. End of an era for this club and the final nail in the coffin.

It's not obvious we knew this was going to happen. When Lisa and I stood down, as we mentioned earlier, most of the effort was surrounding the litigation funding and insurance. I didn't believe the Trust Board could ever sign a deal behind the members back.

Anyway, as Lisa also noted, she did publicly state she'd left. In fact, I was checking the Trust Members page earlier, and I can see that point was discussed quite a bit over there in December.

Yeah fair one ux, it wasn't a dig at you guys, just floundering I guess. It always had an air of inevitably about it, a very slow motion car crash but the world keeps an turning and life goes on.

Yeah, I get it. Reading my post I do wonder if it seems naive in hindsight but you'd just think people would know better.

I resigned from the Trust on Tuesday so I didn't feel it was right for me to attend last night's meeting, even though they still sent me login details.
I was however unhealthily interested in it and keeping track on Twitter and on here. But it just made me even more angry than I was on Tuesday.
Anyway, thanks very much to Phil, Lisa, Andy and Cudey for the efforts you put in on the Trust Board in the past - I commend you all on your abilities and your integrity- and you must all feel horribly let down by the new Board in taking us to this place. Love you all.
Thanks also to those others who were updating us all on Twitter and here last night - especially Darran :)
This shit has taken up most of my free thinking time over the last 3 days and I'm devasted by it all.

And this is why I stopped my membership when it all kicked off at the time and it became obvious how the trust had been outmaneuvered. Despite what seem like some genuine efforts by some on here, I'd no faith in the Trust's ability to reach a satisfactory outcome. They seem to have been screwed over every step of the way. It's a sad state of affairs when the fans supposedly still have a decent-sized (compared to most other clubs) stake in the club, but you question the point of it.
