That was a resilient performance.
Just an extra layer of twattery that helps no oneJustice! Can’t believe var didn’t overturn that, what’s even the point of it?
She was well out of her depth. She's supposed to wait until the move terminates before raising the flag, to avoid chalking off goals which VAR subsequently proves are good. They must have got these officials from the local Sunday league. Appalling.I was watching on s4c (in Welsh) and they didn’t kick up a fuss, so I’m probably wrong, but when they brought up the line for the offside it didn’t look straight to me. Seemed they were covering the lino’s mistake, because once she raises her flag prematurely they can’t really give the goal.

I didn’t notice her do anything else wrong to be fair, but yeah - that was a pretty major error. She was well out of her depth. The VAR showed the defender in the centre was playing him on.Out of her depth is a little harsh.
Didn't the lines show he was offside?
His head will be hurting after that
Pretty sure I saw a different image to yourself, I wasn't really paying much attention admittedly. The VAR showed the defender in the centre was playing him on.
In fairness I thought she got it just about right, but same as you i wasn't fully focused, perhaps Peggy called it right...Pretty sure I saw a different image to yourself, I wasn't really paying much attention admittedly.
The internet seems to confirm the assistant referee was correct.
Possibly. In fairness I thought she got it just about right, but same as you i wasn't fully focused, perhaps Peggy called it right...
