Turkiye v Wales

I've been scouring, if Montenegro beat Turkey and we win, we're promoted to league A, if Turkey win and we draw, we're in a play off against the 3rd best in league A to get promoted to league A.. as for qualifying for the world cup, I don't have a clue and neither does Uefa by the looks but pot 1 will be

Portugal
Croatia
Italy
France
Germany
Netherlands
Spain
Serbia/Denmark
England
Belgium
Switzerland and Austria will be in pot 1 if Serbia fail to finish 2nd, if Serbia finish 2nd, Austria will be in pot 2

As for pot two, uefa doesn't explain it at all, but Wales are guaranteed to be in pot 2..

There are going to be 12 qualifying groups for the WC for which then those pot 1 teams will be the top seeds. We'll be second seeds.

12 teams go through automatically qualified as group winners. Then all the 12 runners up plus 4 teams who performed well in nations league will go into play offs. From this 16 team mini tournament 4 more go to the World Cup.

I know there was someone on here moaning about the Nations League a while back who said the old friendly system was better. I doubt there's many Wales friendlies over the years (other than the odd game where we beat one of the big boys) that have been half as exciting or tense as that game was.

You may need some kind of qualification to work out all the permutations of the damn thing, but the games continue to prove that this tournament is so much better than friendly matches that mean nothing.

Yes, the nations league concept is the one thing the governing bodies have got right recently.

That someone was probably me.

It's a load of bollocks, scrap this and friendlies and just play qualification games.

The distribution to the domestic campaign is frustrating.

The only people who moan about the Nations League are the edgelords who keep banging on about how rubbish international football is and how they’d love it if no Swans players ever played for Cymru or any other international team again. These people should be laughed at because in Swans fans terms, they’re mostly those who are just tamping amd insecure because they weren’t born English. The Nations League has been an excellent innovation.

I agree wholeheartedly. Imagine tonight as an international friendly, 3000 fans in some European backwater and a 1-0 defeat. Every game counts these days.
