Verbal Agreement with Southampton Reached

Martin was due to go to the states, because following that really bad spell the yanks wanted him gone,
but following that purple patch run in Southampton showed interest, the yanks called off the trip to the states where they were going to discuss compensation for sacking RM, when Southampton showed interest the yanks knew If they do a deal with Soton they would get $$$$$$$ instead of paying out compensation to RM, the problem being now if RM goes to Soton, he will want to take Piroe, Grimes, possibly Manning, that would give the yanks big bucks, that is all the yanks are interested in ( $$$$$$$ ).

You can forget Manning - he is out of contract in 6 weeks and Swansea City aren’t getting a bean for him.
Piroe enters the last year of his contract in a few weeks, he’s not signed a new deal and he’s now very unlikely to sign a new contract. If the club don’t sell him now and he becomes a free agent next summer he’ll walk for nothing. Grimes is under contract, so should get compo if he leaves. Given the club lost £12m last year, I’ve always thought players would be moved on come the summer. Club is lucky to have assets others are prepared to stump up money for.

Can we make it a pre-requisite for any new manager that they don't do that silly fist pumping thing every time we scrape a win or record a win for the first time in twelve.

Martin moves on, we move on. Swansea City > Russell Martin.

I thought the fist pump was part of the interview process Potential manager has to stand in front of them and demonstrate their fist pump. One style for home wins and another for away wins.
It’s an important part of the modern game almost as much as possession stats.

You could well be right

1. Possession Stats
2. Fist pump quality
3. Xg
4. Shoes
5. Results

It's amazing Cooper lasted as long as he did here, he ignored at least 3 of those!

He seemed one of those old fashioned people who preferred Number 5 above the others

Hair?
Bullshitability?

Careful about criticising the fist pumpery. You'll have the 'real fans' that attend all the (home) games on your case.

Klopp is on a different level fist pumper he even does slapping the chest left side badge level/heart height.

Is it normal that the betting market is still open for Southamptons next manager, I thought they either get suspended when someone becomes a huge favourite or taking down completely once media say agreement etc is in place.

Bristol City v Swansea City
