What, exactly, is the problem with people here? Assholes infatuated with AI? Here an idea... Stop logging on if it bothers you that I posted something!

I don't think anyone's mentioned this yet. When Vip intercepted a back pass and rounded the keeper against Plymouth last Tuesday night, he took an extra touch and fluffed the chance instead of shooting right away because, people were saying, "he hasn't got a left foot".
For someone who hadn't got a left foot, he gave the ball a crisp enough whack with it when he scored his goal yesterday.

It wasn’t an easy chance. He did well to intercept but his pace and direction of travel made it difficult regardless of what foot it was on. Not many top strikers would have taken the opportunity so I give him a pass. You think he should have done better, not sure you keep picking that incident to highlight that he’s not the perfect player but it seems harsh imo.

Guilty as charged, I did criticise him for not doing better with that chance. My point was that he just took an extra touch and wasted the chance instead of hitting it first time with his left, and some said he didn't have the ability to shoot with his left. I was pointing out he did just that against Wednesday, and scored, so his left foot is fine.

It wasn't a case posters saying he has no left foot , it was why he didn't use it when he rounded the keeper which would have been an open goal. Maybe his confidence is up now.

Confidence is a crazy thing when it comes to strikers. When their confidence is high they will try the most audacious shit and somehow it will come off. Anyone remember Papiss Cisse's ludicrous goal against Chelsea as an example?

VIP will do well if you create space for him and he has bit of time, but with tighter and better defending teams he will struggle, he is not mobile enough. But I still expect him score around 15+ goals this season if he played every game. He's the closest thing we have to Ntcham from shooting long range.

Had a similar chance yesterday and he checked back instead of hitting it. Based on the one he did take on and score its quite confusing

Wilfred Bony didn't have a lot of pace, either. Still scored plenty.

To me, it's the goals that count. As long as VIP consistently scores then it's up to the midfield to ensure he's utilized by giving him plenty of ball.

Well he’s made you look like a bunch of mugs. He knows where the goal is, that’s what matters. The experts on here are spouting bollocks again.

Stick him on the pitch often enough and he’ll stick it in the back of the net now and again, can’t ask much more. His goals are good goals too.

It’s great that he’s started to find the net a bit more and his goal in the cup was a beaut. He’s been on the bench for a reason though. He needs to show some consistency now if he wants to nail down a place.
