VPN

Bravo to you for being quite happy to pay the £10.

All of us fans of our Club should do the same. The firestick option is for cheapskates who are happy enough with inferior quality audiovisual. Says it all.

The Club needs the support of it's true supporters. It ain't rocket science, even for the penny pinching types, surely.

Thanks to everyone who said yes to a VPN (even though we lost!!!!!!)
Flawless stream until the last few minutes when we had sound but no picture due to a technical fault of the tele service.
Seemed a better stream than last year, when the club was doing the home games for free

Stuck under contract with Virgin until March next year, but I'm interested in this firestick after that time.

Do you still use a VPN as well or does it do it automatically? Thinking about the rule stating televised football games are a no no on a saturday 1500hrs KO.
£50 a year instead of around £600 (Taken very fast broadband off my actual bill of about £1200) is a mahoosive difference
Is that all Sky movies, channels and sports as well?
We have Netflix and Prime subscriptions, although Prime is more for the next day delivery, as well
Fancy putting some of the Yeehaa channels on as well, like disney+ as they've bought a few companies that make a few of the shows we watch, no longer available on Sky, so making Sky less worthwhile

Quite happy to pay the club a £10 for away games we don't fancy travelling to/ can't make.
Sky red button for the midweeks

Every channel you mention in your post, and about a million more as well. All for £50 a year.

I'm sure someone will be in your PM's shortly :D

Don't forget to mention the naughty channels 🤭

I just pay a tenner for Swans TV hoping that it’ll be less hassle than a stream and Wyndham or Cameron will be co-commentating. Cameron T has to be our next manager when Martin leaves. Maybe needs a couple of lessons from Bren on motivation but love his analysis.

Should have been given a whirl instead of wasting our parachute money on Cooper imo.

I don't mind the £10 to watch, because I can't travel to as many away games as I used to, predominantly down to health. Plus the cost for 2 of us (at least £100 a game) makes it a no brainer.
Still want to make some away games, as I love the banter and atmosphere of an away game.
Won't do Vermin away as I cannot sit on a bloody bus for hours on end.
Trouble is, the no football to be shown in GB at 1500 on a Saturday is the problem.
Used the VPN (set to Portugal- same time zone as UK just to be sure) to bypass the problem.

I will still pay the £10 for the away game- absolutely love Wyndham and his" go on son. go on. Hit it, go on hit it" fan commentating, but looking at it, the firestick could save me around £700 a year and give me better tv options than Virgin/ sky can

Not sure if anyone else thinks a club should be able to sell the stream to its home and away games, to it's own fans, without this Saturday rule having an impact
I understand that pubs/ clubs showing Yernited / Liverpool v anyone would possibly have an impact on the plastic fans attending their local clubs, so I'm not advocating getting rid of the rule, just for clubs outside of the Prem being allowed to show their own games to raise income.
Could help stave off receivership for some clubs, who have fans living around the UK, that can't make many games a season, home or away, but would happily pay a bit to watch a game on the internet.

I'm now thinking of installing a VPN on my Mac, and I'm thinking about whether I need it. I read good feedback about Surf shark and NordVpn. But before buying it, I'd like to ask if it makes its main task to protect the data and change the IP properly. I'm connected now to a proxy server for USA, and I'm delighted, but I'd like to be sure that I'm protected 100%, and I want to install some additional programs to hide my traffic. This is a lovely idea, I think.

Sounds legit.

Anybody wanting a VPN could do a lot worse than consider using Opera as their internet browser as it comes with a free VPN built in as well as free Ad and Tracker blockers.

Hey there! I think it's great that you're willing to pay the £10 to support your club.

However, I don't think it's fair to call people who use a Firestick "cheapskates." There are many reasons why someone might choose to use a Firestick, such as convenience or affordability.

That being said, if you're looking for a higher-quality option to support your club, I'd recommend checking out ishosting. They offer blazing-fast 10Gbps connections, which can handle high-quality streaming of your club's games without any buffering or lag."
