If the board are happy to see Williams go so they can bring their own person in then it won’t be Alan Sheehan it will be someone experienced and with a background imo.

His comments were indeed strange, but if I am being honest Williams has always been... "clumsy" to be gentle with it when it comes to media questions. Remember when he said we had agreed to have Rushworth for another year on a live interview?

Strange week with Grimes taking the team talks and now the rumours of Williams going.

Any approach would have to go through the club, not his agent…

I think it was just a clumsy response, although he could have easily just said he’s not interested in talking about other clubs and rumours and just shut it down, rather than rambling about his agent.

"If you speak to the owners, they will tell you that Swansea didn't call them.
"If there is an official approach that is one thing, but people talk."
"I'm concentrated on Notts County, this is the club that embraced me, the club that gave me an incredible experience," Williams said.

Also the favourite tonight with Skybet at 3/1 with Heitinga out to 7/2. Albeit as we know it's a small market and you know it's only done when it's 1/4 etc...

Wouldn't surprise me if he left.. after all we are the stepping stone club to bigger things for both Managers and players.

Is WBA a real upgrade in the current climate? Wages apart probably not.

Dare say baggies fans wouldn't be too impressed either

Historically yes they are, but currently I’m not too sure. The pressure will be greater there on him to succeed I’m sure. A few defeats on the spin, they’ll be calling for his head. With our fans it’s just apathy at the final whistle of defeat, then we move on.

If WBA are in for Williams then they want a cheap option basically.
Not overly concerned if he were to leave, same if he stays.
