I love this.

Where were we after 17 games?

What about 28 games?

What about that run under Martin where we didn't win for, like, 4 months or whatever it was?

Where we were we when Diana died?

Anyone can take a cut of a table at a moment in time, someone should tell Vital Swansea it's nothing new or clever
And, come on mate. Forget about points, we're fucking dogshit on the pitch in every metric.

What more do you want?
I’m not saying I want us to outplay a Premier League side.

Somebody replied to my post saying that they thought that was a good performance from us and I argued that it wasn’t due to the fact that luck played more than a large part in my opinion. That’s it.

I’m not trying to discredit us at all.

It does not seem like he is asking for more from that game? It can be a great win without being a great performance. That is all he is saying.
A win against a team who knocked on the door of the champions league is all we should be talking about, not the performance.

Playing silky football against a team of that quality in my opinion is a stretch. That win evoked memories for some and created new ones for others.

I've to be honest and please don't take this the wrong way. The expectations of some supporters are far higher than they realistically should be.

I think you are being incredibly unfair. He does not say he has expectations to play silky football in a win versus Forest or that he did not enjoy the win or create new memories through it. Your second paragraph in particular seems to be arguing or decrying other fans by taking it out on somebody who is not saying the things you are accusing them of.

We have to be very very careful here. Fourth season in a row where we are worse off than the season before, and there aren't many spaces left for us to sink lower. If we spin the manager roulette wheel, we have no margin for it getting worse.

I'm not accusing anyone of anything. If you don't agree then you don't agree.

Maybe you're being a little too sensitive.

Well you have said he has unrealistic expectations if he thinks you can play silky football and beat a side like Forest. At no point did he say that. So I do think it is fair to say you are accusing him of something he did not say.

I wanted Sheehan to succeed and I was chuffed when he got the job

That impression was formed on the back of a 2nd half of the season under him where we pressed high and aggressively and transitioned from turnover onto quick attacks that was enjoyable to watch.

This first full season under him has offered absolutely none of that

It is what it is.

Can't remember too many people complaining at the final whistle.

Great win, wish our completed passing stats were better though.

He is not complaining about the win? I think you are taking out a grievance you must have with somebody else out on and continually keep referencing things he did not say.

Is this some kind of disciplinary meeting?
