Let's be positive and negative.

Say we scraped into 6th spot. And scraped a play off win 😀

I'd dread the Prem tbh. 😞

Though if we could get more than Derby or Wolves points I'd take it 😃

Seriously though, is the Prem a realistic ambition these days for a Club our size/income - and also given the gap that is much wider than when we went up in 2011. (Plus we had a brilliant squad)

It wasn't a realistic ambition back in the day, but we made it. Stayed 7 years, won a major trophy 🏆 and played in Europe. When i was a young man it was merely a pipe dream then until Toshack took over. Of course it's a realistic ambition, if the likes of Burnley, Brentford and Bournemouth can do it then absolutely we can AGAIN.

Honestly I wouldn't complain at all about going up and getting battered six ways from Sunday every week and coming straight back down. The financial reset alone would justify it presuming that our transfer team is indeed up to the task as they seemed to be this summer.

As long as we avoid becoming a record book statistic for lowest ever points total I could care less.

Loads predicted that Sunderland would break Derby's record after being comprehensively outplayed in all three play off games but somehow scraping through.
Burnley won the Championship at a canter and are coming straight back down.
Seriously, we didn't have a brilliant squad in 2011, we had a brilliant manager. Danny Graham was our marquee signing and no one gave us an Earthly. I still think it's Brendan's greatest achievement to keep us up that first season on top of getting us up in the first place.

Win the next game. If possible make the opposition cry by the end.

Thats it.

My ambition is to leave the ground win, lose or draw and think to myself I really enjoyed that and can’t wait for us to play again.
Mate, you're supposed to be furious about the ref, the tactics, and that one crap miss in the 89th minute. This is football, not therapy.

Going to the game is a kind of therapy for me, it's my chance to switch off from all the external noise going on in day to day life.

It's my chance to have a few beers with those I care the most about. I feel like I'm finally getting my club back and starting to fall in love with going to games again.
