What Ewe Watching

I felt Adolescence was one episode too long. I'd have cut 40 minutes from the boy/psychologist episode which was poorly directed. And there wasn't enough Stephen Graham, who lit up the screen in every scene he featured in.

From dark British drama to annoying but compelling American reality drama, I'm three episodes into Netflix's Million Dollar Secret. It has similarities to Traitors though the "faithfuls" are kept firmly on track thanks to some fairly unsubtle clues.

The meanness and idiocy of various contestants has had me fuming, but it's been good light entertainment telly so far.

Just finished This City Is Ours, I think it's currently running on BBC 1 on a Saturday night, but all episodes are available on the I Player, quite enjoyed, and hopefully there will be a Season 2.

I'm not a big film buff, but watched The Martian last night, it's a decent watch to be fair. It's on BBC iplayer atm.👍

I am also presently addicted to watching the original 7 series of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' with Patrick Stewart. Originally, really expensive to produce, 25 episode sci-fi series. It had cutting edge special effects (back then) and recommissioned 6 times. That would never happen now. It still looks really good
Can't fault it, I watched that back in the day, and I think it's definitely my favourite Star Trek series, now I have said that, hmm can't make my mind up now, I sure loved episodes of Voyager when the Borg were about. I think I shall call it a tie for the time being, definitely have to revisit those series in the future again, they are very good.

Cpt. J T Kirk of the starship Enrerprise will still bring back memories of the original series of Star Trek .

Spock , Bones , Scotty and Ulhara were the groundbreaking must see tele back then , loved it .

The unknown actor brought in as an extra and for one scene will end up as a victim of the baddies .
Spot the fall guy in most episodes , easy to spot .

Some of the franchie movies are watchable too for a bit of switch off time from deep thinking films .

Jean Luc , Data and Ricker where in the last series I viewed , lost interest after them characters went .
