• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What have I seen her in before?

Bit late to this conversation, but the wife started watching Department Q a couple of nights ago. I'm not usually a big crime series person, but I walked through the room a little way into it and clocked Matthew Goode who is usually a good watch, so I sat down and got hooked. Finished the third episode tonight and think it's great.

Also, you may well have seen Kelly MacDonald in Trainspotting many years ago. It was a fairly memorable role for a few reasons... Incidentally she's looking great at 49 in Department Q.

Finished up Ozark season 2 last night. Really good stuff. Laura Linney is so good as Wendy Byrde, and whoever it is that plays Agent Petty was great as well. To be fair, everyone is good to exceptional in it, including the child/teen actors.

Just finished watching the three Yellowstone series, 1883, 1923 and Yellowstone itself. We watched them in date order rather than when they were released.
Have to say that Mrs Mute and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. Some great acting throughout.

I watched the first episode of the assassin with Keeley Hawes. Total absolute abject shit. Just to be sure I watched the last episode too. Still 24 carat turd. Avoid.

Currently watching Birminghams version of the thing Wrexham done. It’s pretty much part about Brum, the rest about Tom Brady.

Not a patch on the Wrexham show and that Tom Brady is very easy to take a quick dislike to.

I do hope football doesn’t become all about celebrity nonsense. Snoop doggy dog is more than enough for me.

I saw the roast of Tom Brady a few months ago for some reason (I wasn’t looking for it but happened to see it). He came across as an absolute arse on that.

I’d heard his name before, but wouldn’t have a clue what sport or anything about him. He soon lets you know during this show 🤣

To be fair, he went from being a low draft pick (every NFL team passed on him multiple times) who was expected to be a backup quarterback at best, to become the GOAT.

He has always come across as an odd sort though.

Shame.
I'm normally happy to watch Keeley Hawes stand still.
