“Turn” - on Netflix. Loosely based on the American war for independence. Started really slow but brilliant now.

Film recommendation......I Swear.

Very funny, opened up my awareness on tourettes and the challenges and obstacles for the individual, family and friends.
Worth a watch

Sinners - film with Michael B Jordan. Very good. Currently on Sky Cinema but probably available elsewhere too.

I watched that a few years ago I think, when it was on Prime. Based on the book ‘Washington’s Spies’? If it’s the same thing it’s brilliant, I would watch it again.

No spoilers please but into episode four on catch up , wow it is weird but must tele for a night to watch nonsense .

Acting is great and the make up artist and back stage dresser must have had a field day .
Boat Story , great storyline in the most part until the finale , thought the ending was a mess and not a true reflection on the series overall , probably run out of steam and ideas to finish .

As usual the speculation and clues left might be a for a follow up series if necessary .

Yeah that’s the one. Just onto the last season (4) it’s superb.

Just saw this being touted. Timothy Spall is usually good value.

Kate Winslet and Timothy Spall’s Goodbye June. Powerful New British Drama Has Just Hit Netflix, and Viewers Are Already Calling It One of the Year’s Best-Cast Shows! Don’t miss this one. The brand-new British drama starring Kate Winslet and Timothy Spall has just landed on Netflix, and it’s already generating serious awards buzz. Praised as “perfect” and boasting what fans are calling “the year’s best cast,” the series also marks a major milestone for Winslet as she steps behind the camera for the first time. With emotional depth, heavyweight performances, and a richly layered story, it’s shaping up to be one of the most talked-about dramas of the festive season — and a must-watch for anyone craving prestige TV done right.

After a bit of digging I found it. Thought it was a series but its a film. Helen Mirren also in it.

That’s all great, but what’s the genre?

Good question. Whoever wrote that needs shooting. They call it a series but its a film and I am bloody sure that last sentence in their summary is decidedly dodgy grammar.

Anyway, it sounds like a family drama. Not watched it yet. Was mistaken in thinking with that line up it might have been a good drama series.
