I have a few more days to eke out, but all good things come to an end.
Need time away from the house, done to much munching since Christmas Eve, which started with Breakfast at the Kardomah, need to get back to normality, just a pity that it involves work, Birthday next weekend so that be more grub doh!

Hmm, I know what you mean. It’s easy to fall into a comfortable habit of eating and drinking. I’m leaving on Sunday for a week in Brazil, so picanha and caipirinha every night isn’t going to help much. Might have to be dry February.

Yep. And they sell the 100,000 tickets with ease. It’s mainly tourists / visitors plus groups of teenagers and twenty somethings I think.

The only time I’ve been on the Embankment for a big event is during the Diamond Jubilee when the Queen sailed down the Thames on that barge thing. It was the start of the Olympics summer in London and everyone was partying for weeks and that was good fun but the crowds were unbelievable so they limit it now.
Considerably more appealing on a warm summer evening.

I didn't drink all that much in fairness, I a few more than normal yesterday though.

Wife said “she looks familiar” as soon as it said she was from Swansea.

Wife always says “they look familiar” whenever someone from Swansea comes on telly. Can set your watch by it.
I do exactly the same thing!!

I suspect that there is just a certain degree of likeness in everyone that comes from Swansea so people always remind you of someone. Given my family have been in Swansea for generations and so have many others, it’s not inconceivable that loads are tenuously related somewhere along the line anyway.

I think it’s too soon after celebrity one. They’re exhibiting the same brain dead behaviour, there are some clever people, so it’s annoying me at the moment. I’ll watch the murder and round table but skip the rest until there’s only half a dozen or so left. At this stage there’s too many of them and it makes no difference who is voted out, unless it’s that secret one, and they’ll still probably replace, even then.

As for that secret thing, it’s a bit daft. If they don’t recommend the same ones for murder they’ll narrow down who they are. I suppose they could be one of the ‘normal’ traitors.

Am I overthinking things 🤣

If I may interject, anyone enjoying The Night Manager.🤔
For me it hasn't dissapointed, very enjoyable thus far.
