• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I’m on a dry spell as well, tempted to sign up for Disney again as there’s a second season of something just come back on there.
Hmm, I would take a look at Paramount plus. Before considering Disney, I have Disney and there’s not much new , although I think the new season of Mandalorian is imminent, maybe March.

Got Paramount, but run out of things to watch on there, so probably swap over. Deal on at Disney as well at the moment. Then swap back when that new Yellowstone spin off starts in March.

Again, about 15 years behind everyone else we’ve been watching the 28…later films.

28 days later is excellent.
28 weeks later is a pile of steaming horse shite
28 years later is on tonight’s agenda.

I don't think so mate. The Mandalorian and Grogu film is out in May (presumably in cinemas and shortly after on Disney+). Jon Favreau has said the scripts for a 4th season are all written, but I don't think any of it has been filmed. So if there is another series, as nothing has been confirmed yet, it won't be for a long time.

Yes, that’s what I get for listening to the missis 🤣 She told me March a few days back, a google tells me it’s May 22nd. All I caught was Mandalorian in March,

Edit:

I assumed it was the next season, but now I can see it’s a film, I do like the show, so looking forward to the film.

The Innocent series on netflix, spanish adaptation of a harlan coben novel, pretty brutal in parts but a really good watch, is available in english or subtitles depending on your preference

Finished watching His & Hers.

Worth a watch if anyone is struggling with watching something.

Nightmanager warming up nicely for the finale on Sunday. Thoroughly enjoyed this series.👍

This years SAS Celebrity Who Dares Wins series just finished, it was very good, although they have toned things down since the first few series, this last was tough, but not as brutal as some of the previous series, especially the series when Ant Middleton was chief of staff.
Its been an enjoyable watch though, then again all the previous series have been a good watch..

Started watching Pluribus on Apple TV - new show from Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad). Wasn't sure whether to stick with it after the first episode, but I did and I'm glad I did. Still not quite sure what to make of it, but it's a good watch.

You've got five minutes to tune in to Channel 5 + 1, and see Michael Portillo's visit to Valencia and surrounds, my nearest big city. Check out the section on authentic paella in particular and the lovely village of El Palmar full of paella restaurants in the Albuefera natural park. Terrifico!
