• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Probably the same person or persons responsible for all the other leaks that are designed to make Russy look justified in his actions and/or provide him with excuses.

If true anyone surprised?
Yesterday Morgan was allegedly OK with it. Doubt he was.

Doesn't this type of leak actually have the opposite effect?

Why is this a surprise - Whittaker was obviously recalled in the hope that we could sell him on.

Predicted weeks back that he wouldnt play for us in January

I'm sure someone will correct me; but before Martin I can't remember a player refusing to play for us.

Now it seems we've had 3 in 18 months.

Anyone believe a word that comes out of Martin's gob?

"Anyone understand a word that comes out of Martin's gob?" Corrected that for you. I offer up "playing with detail" as evidence.

Jordan Ayew once refused to train if memory serves, but I can't remember anyone refusing to play.

Now we're expected to believe that it's happened three times in a short space of time. Poor Russy having to deal with all these bolshy players.

He was in the squad and then didn’t show up and turned his phone off - FACT

The story to media has been spun differently

Gylfi refused to travel with the squad for our pre-season tour of the United States - before he went to Everton.

However, it's understood Whittaker did not train with his Swansea team-mates on Friday after the attacker spoke with senior figures at the club to state that he did not feel in the right frame of mind to feature in the English capital.
