Williams out

Alternatively, he sees them in training every day, where perhaps they are just as bad as they are on matchday.

Perhaps he's got it absolutely spot on with them. Perhaps he's praying for January so he can bring people in and hopefully leave them out of the squad altogether.

Let's face it they hardly make a compelling case for more minutes do they?
No absolutely agreed but do you just keep changing for changing sake or give it a chance to gel together in the hope it might work?

We been sleep walking for years. Players/club content to hang onto and just making sure of safety. The apathy towards fans is insulting at best. Players will know and will work out who's for the drop. This is now looking like the year when that guessing/judgement falls on its arse.
We are only 5/1 to go this season.

Your guess is as good as mine.

My honest opinion is you could pick names out of a hat for our wingers and strikers, and it would always be rubbish no matter what.

There's little point in changing the manager. The fact that our squad is so reliant on players such as Cabango, Fulton, Allen and Cooper and then we have the additions of the last couple of windows

Pep would struggle to get a tune out of this squad
Sounds like you have made peace Phil.

I have also

I'm really struggling to see exactly what Williams brings to the club, apart from excuses.

If the narrative now is that the squad is terrible so we shouldn't expect much then we might as well have kept Duff, I don't think we'd be any worse off than we are now.

One sub on 65 minutes and another 2 subs on 75 regardless of the way the game is going, it's management by numbers.

Five games (and 75 minutes) without scoring a goal, scored the joint fewest goals out of all 72 EFL clubs, 2 points outside the relegation zone.

The players don't have a clue what they're doing on the pitch and are devoid of confidence, that's on the manager and coaching staff.

We're very much in a relegation scrap this season and will be lucky to stay up if things don't change

Sadly, lump on Saint 😔

We haven’t scored a goal for five games and six weeks. Like others I don’t see the point of sacking the manager. Klopp would struggle to get a tune out of this club and these players. But there’s no point in pretending he knows what he’s doing and is just being hamstrung by shit owners. We’ve got ourselves a dud. Another one.

I agree. We could bring a new guy in and give him the January transfer window where the owners will probably bring nobody in.

Let's have it right, if we'd kept Duff, we'd now be near the foot of league 1.

The guy who's currently sitting in the playoffs with Huddersfield?

I'm not saying Duff was any good but there's really not much between him and Williams in terms of their abilities. The Championship is too high a level for both of them

He is not having special treatment just the undsterdaning from some that he has a weaker squad especially attack wise.
He's got an under 23 squad at his disposal that scores goals for fun, it's his decision not to use some of them in the first team
