• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Ronald hasn't gone to shit, he is shit.

See, this is the problem I'm talking about. Too many people get way too excited about a player early on after a couple of good spells in matches, they take that to mean those are the true performance levels, when the reality is the odd flash we see is the outlier, the majority of the time these players just do not deliver.

Paterson was another one. Ntcham. McKay. Celina. The list goes on.

We've become a club that attracts inconsistency and mediocrity. It's who we are now.
You need to take some time out in your dad's shed in the garden.
You are riddled. Riddled with an obsessive hatred of our Club and our owners. Bonkers as heck, in so many ways. Makes no sense, whatsoever.

Our owners smash our transfer record in this league - the first thing troubled folk like you do is criticize our next level investment.

You never proffer cogent rationale for your Willy's flaws. In the same way folk like you didn't when Martin was wreaking his havoc. At my Club.
Weak, yet shouty folk like you have proven to be a poison to my Club. You don't get a second chance.

Take a break, do some deeper thinking, articulate your rationale for the case of your Willy. Do something constructive.

Folk like you, with your twisted irrational mindset will get us nowhere.

You could, but you'd be wrong, because it's not the same. He's not as shit as Page, and Wales has far, far better players than the Swans.
The point is a better coach has got better performances out of the same group of players.

You can spin things as much as you like.

I'm not spinning anything my friend.

For your theory to work, you have to believe that underachievement is at play to begin with. And I think that's where you and I fundamentally differ. Which is of course ok 👍🏻

I'd love to know what you're watching on a weekly basis, it's certainly not the same as the rest of us.

I love this. Like you're the arbiter of "chances" or something. Lol.

I like you. I can have a bit of fun with trolls like you. It's very amusing. Keep it coming.
Your rationale for your Willy In will suffice - and still nothing. Nada.
You just keep spinning your yarn, deflecting, in all the obvious ways - all very so in-character to the limited of thinking outliers like you.
And still no rationale for your Willy In.

Seriously, think hard and deep why your Willy In is a good thing for my Club right now. Three bullet points will do..........

And if you think you can have a bit of fun, I'm in......

I put it down purely to mentality. Our head game just isn’t there.

We’ve gone toe to toe with the top sides in this league, and if we’d gone into the games against the lower sides with that mindset we’d have a far bigger haul over the past few years I’m sure of it.

Whether that’s down to the management or playing staff; who knows, but we haven’t been at the races with that aspect for years. Far too comfy.

Actually, we do both agree that it's crap. It's crap to watch, and it produces patchy results. It's neither entertaining nor successful.

It's just your theory and my theory on why that is, and what the solutions are, is completely different. That's where we differ.

Andrew, that's a great response and you're absolutely spot on 👍🏼

Brilliant.

In the meantime, when you've come up with your "cogent rationale", let me know, and I'll have a think about coming back to you with mine then. I feel we're getting somewhere now. Nice one 👍🏻

Have you given any thought about keeping your willy in?
