• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Am I the only one to notice that all the Grimes stuff has taken away the vitriol about Luke ? Couldn't have worked out better for him and Andy Doodle Dandy.

Looking back on the last month, I cant help think that all the Williams nonsense about Grimes I.E. The teamtalk etc, the effusive praise (The quote "That performance stank of him"?? WTF...) I think it was an attempt to smooth over whatever has gone on.

You can't sack the whole team and all that 🤦‍♂️

Or too butter him up knowing that he wanted to go, in hope that playing upto him will make him stay.

We will see tomorrow how Fulton plays.. if he plays behind Cabango we will know LW is behind this tactical nonsense

It is unfathomable to me that he isn't. How could you justify your position if you are allowing a player to dictate the team's tactics?

Let's be frank here. No way did Grimes dictate where he played. Luke did. Come tomorrow he have a different formation. Under no circumstances be fooled into believing he was not the Fuhrer of the previous line ups.

Can't see much of a change whatever the line up.

This seems to have come out of the blue, so only a few days training to make change to tactics.

Add to that, we will still have Delcroix who will only have had a week to get used to the players .

His god and hero Martin plays the same way. Of course it’s him. As is all the suicide stuff, inverted Keys, wingers turning back, aimless crosses, stupid selections and brainless substitutions. He’s gash. Maybe at last he’s been told to do something different. Let’s see if he can or does. If I have to bet, I’m going for the same old nonsense, but Grimes free.

The first half against SU gives me hope, but it needs to be with 90 minute conviction. Williams “needs to” be kept out of the changing room if we’re leading at half time.
