in fairness Vip is starting to get minutes...he looked good testerday and yes needs more time and a goal to get gis confidence up.
Whikst at the same time the manager has ri find a balance to get results despite being un besten at home he is gettjng pelters whatbif palying the likes if Vip from the start who are not up to speed and we lost?

For me we are playing rhe best football for a long time....is it Williams fault Ronald didnt convert the cahmce yesterday or Peert-Harris at Sheffield

Maybe i set a lower bar of expectancy given i remember the grim years of the mid 80s and 90s....despite experiencing the highs of the Tosh years.
Since then football has moved on money talks and we dont have it...also decisions about subs are not the manager/coaches aline....the stats and conditining guys monitor eachnplayer with a gps and this will dicyate

We can reflect on the good and bad times from our past when in fact it has very little to do with where we currently are on the pitch today.

If a manager cannot influence a game that is a concern along with players not being fit enough to finish a game this early in to the season.

You can't blame a fella creating a mess who was here a matter of months compared to the previous guy who was here for two years unless you are bought in to the cult of Martin which I have a suspicion you are. So to save everyone's time and energy it is probably wise for us to put that to bed, we're never going to agree.

I'd question the formation you've mentioned, it seems more or 4231

The managers job at this club is coach players that we've signed based on their potential and for us resell at a higher price. It is fairly worrying that Ronald is a shadow of the player we signed in January. I have no idea where we are at with the likes Viptonik and Bianachi, they can't get enough minutes on the pitch.

There is no doubt Luke Williams is a lovely guy, I really want him to succeed. What I want get caught up with is making everyone else at the club a scapegoat because of the managers current short givings.

Martin got away with murder because of his ability to play the piped piper where as Duff didn't because his persona was as dull as dishwater.

If you can stop banging on about Martin for a second, I'm surprised you seem to have forgotten how bad the Duff spell was. Much like the point you made earlier about how Williams and the owners can both be criticised and it's not one or t'other, surely it's ok to say Martin was distinctly average, but Duff was a catastrophe. Again it can be both.

Back to Williams - I honestly don't think people are cutting him some slack because he's a "nice guy", it's because many people can actually see clear signs of improvement compared to what went before.

I just don't think you and some others are doing yourselves any favours by thinking there's more to be squeezed out of this squad, whether it's under Williams or anyone else. Imo you're setting yourself up for massive disappointment. We're paying League One wages to several players nowadays, that's where the club's at. The squad is crap and all any coach can do is rearrange the deckchairs on the Titanic. That's the reality.

Williams needs to pull his socks up, sharpish. Sheez and Marge are champing at the bit.

Record spend in this league last term (to fix the Martin Mess). Respectable top half net spend this term, to kick on. Whilst also cutting our cloth to be sustainable. Responsible ownership.

Williams is doing a Martin right now and not getting the best out of his assets. He’s too focused on himself, as per. Bit like some of our online fans.
