Like I said I'm entitled to give my opinions you don't agree with them, fair enough, you won't stop me giving them though.
Good night!

Good talking with you keep fighting the good fight. Good night.

He believes in a social ladder, the ladder is royalty and the rest of the plebs, he's what you call an idiot

I agreed with you then and do now 🤷‍♂️ my concern about the practical impact of means testing still stand as well.
I've said it previously and I'll reiterate again...when you and Rockin reach consensus it is a worthy proposal for the nation.😁

Just had letter from my Local Primary Care Clinic , Specialist treatment and advice I need will be a minimum of a years wait , maybe longer , an issue my local GPs will diagnose with some pics and an abrupt phone call at any vague time that day , solve my problem not a chance .

Go back and push the issue with my doc , who I never see anyway , private consultation at Sancta Maria starts at £250 for starters , treatment whatever figure .

NHS is in meltdown , cracks will be papered over by waffle and the Greater good for us , take it .

Things can only get Better as the words once said .

I'm in a similar situation Robbie, I had through examinations and tests which weren't very nice at all, but all of which I've had before, they signed me off as all was well, but the problems still exist so went back and asked for a 2nd opinion and was told another appointed will take at least a year, spoke to my mate yesterday and he told me that the issues I got shouldn't be ignored, Mrs had an appointment with our youngest at singleton this morning so couldn't phone the surgery. I've no chance of phoning first thing due to work.

Screw work, Max. Your health comes first.

Give the money to the Senior Citizens who need it and don't give it to the Senior Citizens who don't. Reading the previous comments, I know that's controversial.

Just as well work while I'm waiting, last time I saw the Doc I asked him to chase it up and he said we can try, but I don't know what good it well do, so I asked him about a private consultation and he was going to get the medical clerk to phone me, I'm still waiting.

My eldest requires advice off the rheumatologist on occasions and when he or his Mam phones they're greeted with answer phone and it can take 48 hrs to respond and even then they don't always reply, he's on a course of steroids at the moment and he manged to lose them on Wednesday, what a palaver in getting replacements, he even went over to the hospital, his mam went over after work yesterday and managed to get a replacement prescription.

I agree, but not all who are outside the pension credits limit can afford to lose the 300 quid or so, those who have retired with final salary pensions etc don't need it I would suggest.

You said that work gets in the way of phoning first thing in the morning. I’m saying not to let work get in the way.

Its the type of work I do, I'm usually in customers houses by 8 or just after, I can't just phone and stay in a queue waiting my turn, that's why Mrs Niigata usually call's in, I agree with what you saying though, its just not that simple (y)

No, it's common sense. I know plenty who use it to supplement their winter holiday in the sun. Or, like us, give it to our daughter who's bringing up two teenagers and struggling on a teacher's salary.
