Not filling me with confidence of late.
Stick or twist?

Think we got to stick with him until the end, but if we got promoted I’d like to think we’d be in for a new keeper, If we don’t go up then Benda becomes our first choice next season.

Benda should have been our first choice this season TBH.

I thought that was possibly his worst game, purely on his indecision, for us last night unfortunately. He has had many excellent games and maybe Bennett needs to be there to show his leadership and maturity.

Keepers are always going to have a wobble during a season. He's still fairly young in keeper terms, but he is 24 years old.

I think on the whole he is a very decent keeper - you can't argue with our defensive record. I know that it's not just down to him but he is the lynchpin at the back.

It does feel like he's a bit of an easy target sometimes.

I don't think the comments from the Bristol team have helped, if he justs puts the work in he"ll be fine.

Why aren't we using hamer?

He has far more experience, experience that is needed atm in the final stages of a promotion push.

Hes been wonky as fark lately. Lets hope he can work through his rough patch.

I like him. He's usually a very good shot-stopper, though his distribution has never been good. Of late he seems to have lost confidence, and it shows. It could cost us. Hamer is a capable keeper. Until Freddie regains his confidence, I'd use Hamer. An average keeper is better than a good keeper having a bad spell. It's a difficult one for the manager though, would dropping Freddie damage his confidence even further?

He was awful last night and has made a lot of unforced errors to add to his poor distribution of late.
But we also have to accept the midfield goes AWOL leaving the back three and Woodman to lump hopeful balls or attempt miracle passes to reach them.
Hamer? Should be used to give Woodman a break. Even though our defence has been incredible and kept Woodman's active involvement fairly minimal the amount of attacks they soak up takes its toll mentally.
Hamer is obviously only here for emergencies.

We signed an experienced keeper our on loan youngster is feeling the pressure and needs a spell out of the side
Simple as that
If he was an outfield player people would be clamouring to drop him

I hoped he'd grow into commanding his area, but he doesn't even do the six yard box. We keep giving him the ball too as if he can actually pass. After Ben C he is our worst distributor so I've never understood that tactic. Grimes who can pass has it in midfield...pass buck to Woodman to give to the opposition or hoof a 'pass' straight into touch.

I think he's ok. Average championship goalkeeper that will make mistakes and good saves. He can still develop, but at the moment nothing like what we'd need to survive a division higher.

I've been thinking this for months but anyone who has said it has been ridiculed in the near past. He was poor for most of last season but because of the clean sheets this term, he has been lauded. Not good enough for me!

id like to think if we go up we can get better

I know what you mean Dicky, looks lacking in confidence and is glued to goal line.

In his defence, our defensive record has been so good he hasn’t had an awful lot to do all season and this may be a factor. Huddersfield certainly worked out the best way to beat the defence is to shoot from way out.
