In terms of definition, what happens if you are defined by Govt as not a "working person" but you still "work"?
You’ll find out in the budget. In terms of definition, what happens if you are defined by Govt as not a "working person" but you still "work"?
I've got my popcorn readyYou’ll find out in the budget.
We're not getting away with anything it'll hit us in a roundabout way, hike in employer NI contributions could lead to job loses, increased bills that are already high, the price of the products we buy will increase they'll make sure we'll suffer without a doubt!A hike in employer NI contributions sounds like it’s written into the plan, that’s going to hurt businesses and push prices up.
Not sure the working man will get away scot free either, tax hikes on things like property sale or shares can still hit the average working person.
Their own stupid fault for boxing themselves into such a brain dead corner. Just need to reverse the NI cut that Jeremy C**t couldn’t afford to do, put a penny on higher and top rate tax and raise the thresholds not freeze them further. Cowardly bunch, are now scratching around trying to be clever.A hike in employer NI contributions sounds like it’s written into the plan, that’s going to hurt businesses and push prices up.

Yep, buckle in.We're not getting away with anything it'll hit us in a roundabout way, hike in employer NI contributions could lead to job loses, increased bills that are already high, the price of the products we buy will increase they'll make sure we'll suffer without a doubt!
Precisely. Starmer and Reeves could have easily explained the reversal and painted the picture of Hunt doing it to win an election.Their own stupid fault for boxing themselves into such a brain dead corner. Just need to reverse the NI cut that Jeremy C**t couldn’t afford to do, put a penny on higher and top rate tax and raise the thresholds not freeze them further. Three months. Fourteen years. Get a grip. All of Starmers manifesto pledges are backfiring big time now .
Control of the small boats issue , but record numbers now published show the lie .
Stealth Taxes and re- wording of their promises on NI payments another lie .
Thought the last lot were bad .
Labour the Party of the working man as once was , lets hit hard working savers first .
The papers are full of 'Starmer's Lies'. Do Leveson 2,3 and 4 Starmer ffs.Three months. Fourteen years. Get a grip.
And the usual suspects who “hate all politicians equally” fall for it every time. The Budget is gonna sting. It’s gonna cost us all. But this is governing. One of the reasons we’re in this mess is that the last government did very little actual governing, made very few decisions and instead concentrated on desperately trying to cling to power, ideological folly (Brexit) and getting a decent headline in the right wing press through stupid culture war propaganda. That and the rampant corruption and gross incompetence of course. We now have an actual government, one that will take decisions. We might not like or agree with some or all of those decisions but at least they’re being taken, albeit about a decade late. The papers are full of 'Starmer's Lies'. Do Leveson 2,3 and 4 Starmer ffs.
Personally, 14 years of Tory government stung us all more imho, no quick fix to that clusterfuck, it takes however long it takes...And the usual suspects who “hate all politicians equally” fall for it every time. Agreed. I’m sure there’ll be some micro changes at the margins that I’ll disagree with but fundamentally they are actually making decisions. And the usual suspects who “hate all politicians equally” fall for it every time.
