How long until we have a Plan B?

Until someone else gets injured I suppose.

Summer will be interesting. Cooper will have one year left. Do the club stick or twist? Or pray someone comes in for him and makes the decision for us?

It'll be like the summer of 2010 all over again.

If he carries on like this and people like Bowyer make the comments that they do, then nobody will take him.

He’s clearly one dimensional. We’ve been tricked by the early performances of the 3-5-2, which frankly I reckon he found by accident, and he hasn’t been able to change it since.

Even I’ve had enough and I’m normally of the ilk to call for stability when it comes to managerial sackings.

I didn’t hear what Bowyer said but I agree with the rest.

We’re a busted flush.

He basically said that he had been studying our games (as you do), had only ever seen one style and formation, then duly set his team up to counteract it. It’s not rocket science.

They were utter garbage and yet still managed to nullify anything that we could have offered.

I'm baffled that after the Norwich game how we've gone so far backwards. Somethings not right that's for sure.

I’m not sure the yanks would even want him sacked in the summer people like them only see the end product and I don’t see them being massively disappointed in two successive play offs.
Darren, we won't make the play offs based on the form over the last couple of months.
May as well sack him now and start preparing for next season.
We all had such high hopes when we beat Norwich.
Since then we have turned into a poor team playing poor football with a clueless manager.
He has to go

Can't remember the last time I watched a season of the swans and felt after most games that we were pretty rubbish win or lose. The commentators also make me laugh when they talk about our passing game. Are we really a passing side under SC? Next season I see us at the other end of the table of the championship if nothing changes.

People seem to think we were amazing against Norwich, like that famous West Brom victory in the Premier League.

We weren’t that great against Norwich... they had 60% possession, dominated the game and were missing Buendia and pukki was way out of form.

Had they had Buendia they would have destroyed us.

Parachute payments run out at the end of the season and we have no one left to sell. Loanees will go back and Ayew will leave. Next season is going to be tough. I don't profess to know more about football management than an actual football manager( I am in the minority on here in that respect) and I think its wise to wait and see how things pan out before making any decisions on next season. You always have a punchers chance in the playoffs.

Yep. We definitely stumbled onto that by sheer dumb fortune. Been obvious since last season that he's largely incapable of changing things himself. Game after game after game we watch other managers make changes whilst Cooper stands there watching. If Plan A doesn't work we're knackered.

Plan A doesn't work any more.

Exactly.

We have had some results by luck, which now has run out. The championship on the whole is a poor standard of football where effort can give you the edge. Our players look less fit than most of the opposition, and now that we are coming to the stage in the season where teams have to up their game we have been found wanting. The last 3 games Bournemouth are a better team whereas Cardiff and Birmingham wanted it more.

Roberts and Grimes could possibly sell for decent fees, Ayew will save us close to 4M in wages alone.

Oh whoopee.

What worries me is the thought of David Wagner being appointed if Cooper was sacked.

I've no real idea about who could be the next manager, but with how things have gone downhill you have to be concerned about next season if there isn't a fundamental change

Ayew has contributed zero in most games and has often made us worse with his 25 touches and refusal to pass or his falling over beating the ground after hopelessly losing the ball. £80k a week my arse.

This morning I am thinking that Mr PowerPoint has earned the right to have the next 8 games and let’s see, but I also think any change would benefit us. He has made them scared to do anything. They are all hiding behind safe passes backwards or forward or diagonal hoofs. It is pure frightened football. Rodgers always used to encourage bravery. Remember when he took responsibility for Rangel’s mistake against Man U and basically encouraged him to try it again but get it right? The Shapemeister is the absolute opposite. He is a chancer that has nothing more to offer than negative anti football and his luck has taken a turn for the worse. He has tuned these players into a bunch of shithouse cowards.

Maybe the justified shitstorm he will get online and Bowyer’s stinging comments will force him into some changes and he will get lucky again. That’s our only real hope now. Lady Luck returning.
