All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thank you though for all the memories

I'm all in favour of defending someone's right to privacy online but it's definitely time for ID verification on social media.

This is a very sad thing to read this morning and the latest in a line of people who think it is acceptable to go onto social media and hand out all kinds of abuse to people they don't know and feel that they can do it without any retribution at all.
As the Prof said deeply sad that these people are associated with Swansea City and it is great to see Manchester City doing the same.

I’m really not concerned about the origins of ‘take the knee’ of BLM. This is why it must continue. Makes me so upset.

The last 5-6 years of rampant nationalism and blaming foreigners for everything doesn't help. Racist abuse and hate crime in general has been increasing for a while now to a point that views and behaviours once unacceptable are now more common place. The media and public life are full of people, even mainstream politicians, who oppose immigrants and people of different religious backgrounds, for example. Idiots feel this gives them a justification to cross the line into open abuse.
