• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

This is a nice guitar too auctioned after Cheap Trick played at a NFL game there.
And here’s one I took. On the wall of the Tokyo Hard Rock Cafe.

Cheap Trick are clearly very popular in the major cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Niigata, etc.

I keep Japanese Koi Carp and Niigata is where all the top Koi breeders got their Koi mud ponds and Koi Houses, Hiroshima's Koi industry is growing to, I'd love to go there, but I believe that you got to go with a Tour party from a Koi dealer over here, don't think they'd entertain you just rocking up there unannounced etc,
In Sapporo there's massive carp in the little streams that run alongside the pavement.

So have you made a decision, Max?

We’re going to try Saturday lunch at this place in Swansea.

I know I've seen photo's and video's from a friend of mine Chris Masters he's a dealer and sells from his home in Barnsley, he regularly goes to Japan 3/4 times a year, I get all my koi food off him, spoke to him earlier and ordered more off him, not been up his place for a while its a hell of a drive traffic is usually horrendous as well.
