• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

My wife is a right NZ Marlborough snob.
Her 2 favourites are Wairau Cove and Villa Marie. One of the 2 is normally on a club card offer in Tesco.
We found out last Saturday that they’re available in the Potter’s Wheel and ridiculously cheap (£7.90 for a large wine and a pint of Bud! Similar round cost nearly double in our local).

What are you doing with your meatballs?

Saw a cracking Rick Stein programme years ago where he cooks his lamb meatballs in a rich cumin and paprika based tomato stew, with the main event being eggs poached in the stew. All of this served with cous cous is as good as it gets, have made it so many times since.

Just brought 36 litres of this back from Spain. 95c (77p) a litre but was on offer at 90c (73p) 😂
I get it from Masymas supermarket, I imagine Pegojack is familiar with the supermarket. It's nothing special, tastes ok & does the job (y)😂

White wine with red meat again, Scampi or Fish and Chips we have with White wine and a nice red with red meat only on a Friday though.
Are you going to ask Mrs Max to have a crack at that ragu recipe I showed you? That with a glass of red is a real winner.
