• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Has he gone? Or if not when will it happen?

There's only one in the know and that's Darran.
Looks that way at the moment.

A lot of us might be eating some humble pie and have misread what he was saying in his interview.

But there again, it's football and another 24hrs things change the other way.

Whether he actually ends up at WBA or not his position would appear to be somewhat untenable.

A mutual parting on full pay until another offer comes up maybe.
If can’t be somewhat untenable. It either is or isn’t.

It's probably what he didn't say in his interviews.

He’s probably not even aware of the hysteria he’s caused among the knickerwetters in our fan base.

By the time him and his staff have finished passing their iPad back and forth to each other before turning it on the fuss will all be over and West Brom have appointed Steve Cooper.

If he’s not in the frame for the baggies, let’s just move on and write it off as a strange chapter. I don’t think his position is untenable because of stupidly chosen words; saying that, let’s ask Duff about that…🤔

He’ll no doubt give a more considered answer to these rumours at the pre-match press conference and we can go back to the reality we’re mid table chaff with a transfer window to underwhelm everyone with.

I think it's a bit silly for anyone to think nothing happened concerning the job.

Luke had two opportunities to dismiss it. He and the club have had 24 hours since that pretty poor interview yesterday and have declined to say a thing.

Sources have not told our reporters "he's going nowhere" just that no approach had been made.

Interesting to see where it goes from here

All could be a big game from Williams to try and get a new contract off the new owners knowing there’s some extra money floating around.

This could be up there with the day of Lee Wallace 😁
Many moons ago, someone broke the news that we were signing a left back called Lee Wallace and everyone was chuffed and loads declaring it was done and dusted and we're told by ITKs

Turned out it was bollocks and everyone was tamping and loads backtracked.

I would like to say it was me that started it all 😁
