There was talk he was going to Sheffield, but I think they’ve signed Diaz and are looking at Cannon.

Plenty of people who could do the factory job. Vanishingly few who could do the football. Hence the disparity in pay.

Swap football for factory, and surgery for football, and perhaps our opinions will be a little closer, say for a couple of million pounds salary wise...

That was never happening..

It didn’t seem likely did it? Probably agent stirring for a new improved deal. Although it’s entirely possible it was unrealistic AND we were showing interest. I’ve not got much faith in our recruitment process unfortunately.

Apparently we’re close to our limit with the PSR which is why we can’t go and spend fully on say Low, seems a bit of a nightmare situation for us if true.

I've only seen PSR mentioned by a few people. It seems to me we're in a better situation than some who seem to be still spending.

Would be a bit odd if we were strugglng with PSR considering how little we've spent for the last two seasons. Be surprised if our transfer fees added up to more than £10m
