So how do Cardiff sign a 4mil striker given their financial issues? They also too 10 in league for wages ffsApparently we’re close to our limit with the PSR which is why we can’t go and spend fully on say Low, seems a bit of a nightmare situation for us if true.
Pedersen, Tjoe-A-On, Abdulai...Swansea City consider player swap in bid to land Joe Low transfer
The Swans could well get creative as they bid to find a breakthrough in their efforts to sign Joe Lowwww.walesonline.co.uk
Could they even afford half of the wage Pederson gets here?Pedersen, Tjoe-A-On, Abdulai...
Unless we plan to keep him as emergency back up, then us paying a good percentage of his wage would still make sense.Could they even afford half of the wage Pederson gets here?
Yeah I think he’s out of contract which makes me think we’re probably offering T Joe.Unless we plan to keep him as emergency back up, then us paying a good percentage of his wage would still make sense.
Isn't he out of contract this summer?
Unless we pay half the wage maybe?Could they even afford half of the wage Pederson gets here?
They couldn't even be bothered to throw in some names of players who may be included in a potential swap deal. Swap deals hardly ever happen anyway so I'd file that one under "nonsense"Swansea City consider player swap in bid to land Joe Low transfer

It’s not about how much we spend, it’s based on losses over a three year period. From memory the threshold is near to £40m in round numbers.Would be a bit odd if we were strugglng with PSR considering how little we've spent for the last two seasons. Be surprised if our transfer fees added up to more than £10m
I'd also add that on a £1m fee, it would be spread over the length of contact so on a fee that size surely can't affect PSR that muchIt’s not about how much we spend, it’s based on losses over a three year period. From memory the threshold is near to £40m in round numbers.
I'd say you're rightYeah I think he’s out of contract which makes me think we’re probably offering T Joe.
Wages are the big issue here. We, along with most other Championship sides, have been massively overpaying our players for years. Chances are that that is being rectified slowly, but the likes of Cullen and Cabango won't have signed extended contracts unless they were being paid a lot more than previously. I expect we will make a substantial loss again in the next set of accounts. If we can get it below £10 million we will have done well. I think the permitted 3 year loss threshold is now £41 million, and deductions for the running of the academy, women's team and infrastructure costs are allowed. So, in practice I imagine we're probably able to make losses of close to £50 million in rolling 3 year intervals. We should be comfortably OK this year.I'd also add that on a £1m fee, it would be spread over the length of contact so on a fee that size surely can't affect PSR that much
