• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Coleman out

If changes are made now, the situation can be addressed. Colemans that naive that it may be too late before he does anything.

What happened to giving people time to turn things around. We have been going the wrong way for a while, this will not be an overnight fix. Give them a fair shot before casting judgement, its a nothing season anyways
Nothing season??? Hang on I'll send you over some coffee for you to smell! Being relegated back to League One is not, I repeat NOT a "nothing season"! 🙄

We won’t get relegated. There are teams that are worse. If Williams go we will get a new manager bounce, if he stays we will scrape a few more points and be fine. That’s not me saying keep him, his time is up in my opinion.

But the powers that be up top do need more than a few weeks and a January transfer window to turn this shit show around, all I’m trying to say

What if those teams put a run together?

Brave. And hope you are right. The issue is I cannot remember last time I have seen so many players getting worse and not improving. Coaching. It's that simple.

Genuinely it is baffling how any self respecting multi millionaire could genuinely take on the role of sporting director after limited experience as a shareholder of an American team.

it's dangerous. What on earth goes through his noggin to make him think he is qualified to handle the crucial recruitment decisions at our club?

I hope ‘a different route’ means simply we’re no longer interested in that guy in particular, not that we’re ditching the whole idea of a sporting director full stop…

Just wondering what Nigel Morris is thinking, for example - you’ve put 10 million into the club, only to see Andy Coleman decide he’s going to run the whole football operation himself. Maybe he’s ok with that, but I certainly wouldn’t be.

It sounds like we don’t want a Director of football now, we’re looking more towards a chief scout again e.g Andy Scott.
