• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Is his kids and ex wife still living in Swansea does anyone know? There was talk she wasn’t happy to leave the area then they eventually broke up, don’t know but might explain him being here.

Just drove past Russell Martin just after the Llansamlet entrance to the M4, custom plate BMW with RM on it.

Being revealed as our new manager at half time tomorrow.
Coleman is convinced he will bring the crowds back

So you did actually see him, then?

Let’s not forget the amount of times Potter fancied Grimes in the back four.

He underachieved massively with the amount of faffing he did.
Potter was/is a bit wet.

His body language, demeanour and ability - smacks of my last pick in a schoolboy playground knock around.

And the way in which he kowtowed and bent over for the likes of Stoke ('a massive cloob...') when we were about to play them was worse than Cowardly and defeatist - a proper loser-type.

Pity mind, as he coulda been a proper gem for us.

We need and seek proper EPL creds...........

That first paragraph, followed by the second! 😂😂

Something wrong with the guy!

9 games for Sheehan so far 4 wins 3 draws and 2 losses
10 games: 5 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. 50% win rate (I didn't even need a calculator for that🤓)

It's too early to think about giving him the job long-term of course, I just like to poke at the 'HE SHOULD NEVER BE CONSIDERED FOR THE JOB UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!' brigade.

He's certainly putting his hand up for the job but I think we need to hold back any decision until the end of the season.
